Oh, I see. Well, I'm trying to find out if my numbers were corrected or not so I'll get back to you on that. I'd just have a hard time believing you made only 50 hp less than me at 7 psi less on similar turbos... no offense, because I was making 20-25 hp per PSI. Do you know what the correction factor was when ya' tuned?

The difference would be compression i'm sure, your running 9:1 and stock ls-vtec is roughly 10:1. Uncorrected it was 344, so 425 corrected would be what about 1.24?

    ^Huge difference. Seen a higher compression H22 make 640 on only 22psi, and 530 on 15...

I know. My boy Ladio makes ~500 uncorrected on wastegate running 11:1 in his b series.

Uh, what dyno? What correction factor? What turbo? etc. Plus, you're comparing a freaking 2.2 to a 1.8. Don't compare apples to oranges, yo.

You can't go by boost alone. A shitty turbo you have to turn up to make the same power that an efficient turbo makes on much lower boost. The same motor can make 400 at 14lbs, or 400 on 19lbs. So the setups you're comparing can't quite be compared by dyno numbers alone.

Not sure if you're being funny or not.. but arguing boost is stupid unless you have the SAME (or VERY similar snails). Any real engine tuner knows this.

cfm > boost. Boost is a measure of fail.

    This is QFT...FTW!

It takes approximately 150CFM to produce 100 HP.
Different turbos have VERY different flow characteristics(esp when different displacements are involved)

    Wasnt comparing it to a 1.8L. Fuck a B series. Love a D. FAKLAD.

It was on PFIs jet, dont know the correction factor, Precision PT-67. But I do believe there has been a lower compression H22, same dyno, same snail, and at 30ish psi, he made 650ish. Oh, and I was wrong. Greg made 640/428 on barely 21psi. I think it was 9:1 Arias, with H23 crank and rods.

I think people just over look singles just because they want a better
"Platform" to build on, but with some money put into it just like any other motor. Singles can be fast too. O yea and the torque too. And parts for singles are a dime a dozen.
