Hi guys, my cousin's 99 EBP SI was just stolen from his school, withn the last hour-hour and a half from Arvada High, so I'm sure it's somewhere around the area here. I'm just here to ask you guys in the area to please keep an eye out for it.

It's a 99 EBP SI, here are some things to look for:
Stock SI wheels
Lowered, front pretty low to the ground
No spoiler
Pretty dark tint job
Apexi N1 Dunk Exhaust, Red AEM CAI
Purple headlights, not blue

If you guys see or hear anything please give me a call. The number is 303 601-7854. Thanks for any and all help you can give guys. I'm going out driving right now, hopefully I see something.

Another SI bites the dust eh? I'm so glad I didn't get one of them, it probably wouldn't have lasted me more than 2 months before some F&F fucktard stole it
I'll look out for it, but I'm not out much so...

:guns: When my Integra GS-R was stolen the cops didn't even come out to take a report. Happens so often nowadays they pay about as much attention to it as a cat up a tree.

I'll keep my eyes open but it's probably too late already.

how did you file an insurance claim if they didnt come out and file a report with you? that was the FIRST thing my insurance company wanted to know..and all the other information the police offered.

They definately need to get a handle on car theft in this city..I think we'll prolly make the top 50 list this year. yay for that! :p

They took my VIN, plate number, asked what time I noticed it missing, etc. and gave me the report number over the phone. Never offered to send an officer out. Good old Boulder PD. Guess they were too busy trying to solve the Ramsey murder or busting 20 year olds for underage drinking or something

Well guys, the car has been found. The cops called about an hour after I posted this and said they found the car in an apartment complex parking lot on 85th and Pecos, in Federal Heights. The driver side window was smashed, and the door was a scraped up too. The wheels were gone, center console gone, hood popped, alarm wire cut, gauges replaced with EX gauges, I'm sure there are prints on those since they had it all ready to be swapped and all, but the police don't wanna get into it or something, we were told. They left it with two donuts under the center of the car holding it up, the front was on the ground. When we got there the tow truck lady was pulling it up onto the flatbed, the whole car scraping across the ground.

There were two witnesses that didn't do a fucking thing when they saw this happening. One lady heard a bunch of commotion and looked out here window, saw the people jacking up the car and taking the wheels. She didn't think that the car was being stolen... So she didn't get plates or anything. Another guy was outside and said he saw the same thing, and thought the same thing so he didn't think nothing of it. Somebody called the cops and that's how they found it. The lady witness said that it was a short Mexican dude with spikey hair and a girl was taking the wheels off. The other guy that saw it said it was a short Asian dude with spikey hair, and a girl taking the wheels off. They said they thought the people were just changing the tires, all 4 of them, so they didn't think twice about it until they saw it sitting there after they left. They said that they were putting the tires into a car that looked very very similar (I'm thinking another EBP SI) and they said it had really dark tint. I'm surprised they didn't take the SI tail lights or the seats. Sucks ass big time. Sucks for my cousin, it was his very first car, and he's only been driving for a few months. Some of you guys might've seen his car at one of the previous VANS meets.

This all took place in a 2 hour timeframe. From being stolen between 1-2 and being found between 3-4.

does his school make him pay for parking passes? If so he should go talk to them because his car was stolen on their proporty and shit. He could probably get some money from them.

hrmm..I used to live in the good ol' Federal Heights area...what a fucking slum. Glad he got his car back..even if it wasnt entirely intact. I had my car broken into twice when I lived over there...attempted stolen once. Nice place to live..let me tell ya. I'd tell your buddy to count his blessings..honestly.

Yeah no shit. I can't believe the witnesses that saw them didn't think twice about people taking off wheels and putting it into their car. Fucking idiots. Oh well, either way we got the car, it's fully insured and everything. He filed the report with the school's RO and I don't know what they talked about, but I'm sure the school's not gonna hold and part of the responsibility, maybe they should invest in some cameras, or cops that actually work. I guess they have 2 RO's there, and neither one of them saw a damned thing.

fuck dude, that sucks. i work up around that area, right off 84th and pecos to be exact. the fucking people living up in federal heights are retards. the cops too, they get huge ass discounts, but when we called the cops to report some punks passing off stolen checks, it took them 15 minutes to come, by that time the punks already ate and left. fyi, i work at lotus

I have two new plans to deter thieves from my car and neither one of them is very good.
1) Always park next to a ricer or someone with after market wheels if I can help it.
2) Make a template of my rear driver's side window out of cardboard. Duct tape the template up and attach it to the window every time I park. This way the combination of having nothing in my car anyway, and the simulated recent break in, maybe thieves will look somewhere else.

Okay, a couple more:
3) Never fix my hood or other body damage.
4) Just carry my electric pump with me at all times and deflate two of my tires everywhere I go.
5) Ride the damn bus.

HEY! I swear it passed me going West on 36. Loud as shit, I noticed the noise. It actually was tailing me, and I said to my self damn thats low to the ground, and as it passed the window tint looked great. Not saying I saw it for sure, but one looked alot like the one above.
Again it passed me west bound 36 near the Flatirons Mall.

If it was my cousins car...Damn what an advertisement! LoL.

His exhaust is pretty loud (maybe was if the tow truck lady didn't scratch a hole right through it). His is pretty damn low, I just lowered it with my friend's Eclipse last Thursday. I wouldn't doubt that it was his car though. They could've taken it up Wadsworth to 36 then 36 to Pecos, and that's more or less where they left it. I'm sure they didn't want to drive through too much traffic. What time did you see the car?

that suck! most people don't care when they see things like this. the only people that pay attention are those that have been victims in the past.

True. Funny how they didn' even know how the guy and girl looked, wore or drove. Just a short Asian/Mexican spikey haired male and a girl, loading the parts into a car that was similar. Hmm, people taking wheels off and putting them into the trunk of another car = not suspicious to those folks or something I guess.

1) Don't say sh*t to anyone of what you got in yo ride.
2) put away them stickers (AEM, SKUNK2, all show-means big TARGET!)
3) don't race against foo's somewhere you don't know/ they can follow u.
4) Get the autolock pro -unbreakable (locks the cluch/brake)
5) when u do an alarm, ask the tech to hide the wires.
6) get a back-up battery/siren, hide it somewhere underneath.

I own the same Si yo cousin has, it's a rare commodity for these cars, they don't make them anymore....parts are always what these f*ckers want. At least they didn't take the engine, which was good. a girl help take off the tires? that's some crazy sh*t.

I know for a fact he didn't have any stickers on the car, I took them off myself lol. It's not all that great, just lowered. He had an Autolock clutch lock, but like and idiot, I'm sure he didn't use it. Like Bedlam said, it doesn't matter what you have, don't have and whatnot, if they want it, they WILL get it. The only other option is to have LoJack to track it down after they get it.

Bedlam's ride HAD lojack and they still got away with it. A block of C4, and a remote trigger is what I'm resorting to. If I can't have it, NOBODY will!

check ebay for auctions of Si wheels and such....find a colorado one and you can almost be certain it's your stuff. My stereo and such got jacked from the parking lot at work over the summer and I got it back from the dude (plus 1300 bucks for damages, and reinstallation and a new alarm). Take that Dustin Leigh Santino! little fucker

ever heard of lo-jack?

Jai SI
04-28-2003, 12:13 AM
Yeah it's not gonna do shit to stop them though. It'll find your car the second you report it, but by the time he got out of class, it could've been atleast an hour since they took the car, and in that time the car would've been dropped off already. They found it practically right when he got home from school, didn't even set his bag down and the police station called and said they found it.

And yeah we've heard of lojack. Blubyu was talking about it being on bedlam's car.

well...it hasnt failed me yet...plus i got this new alarm, some people probably already have it: clifford matrix rs 3. you should check it out. that alarm and lo-jack are the best combination to saving headaches and heartaches. i know ive invested too much time, money, and blood on my baby, and im not about to let some low life thug take it away. plus i always carry something.. :guns:

I've got an alarm run on a back up batter right now. Saving up to get Lo-Jack hopefully before the end of the year, and hopefully it won't be too late. So until then I'll be getting a club or a clutch lock or something.
