Tonight: Longmont, 287 Northbound, just a couple miles south before turning into Main street. Silver late-model Camaro SS, I think just intake and exhaust. Sounded badass. Was just gonna pass him slow, but he slowed WAY down, so I popped into 2nd for a good RPM level. Revved my engine so he'd jump first. When he did, I took off and Raped him severely, no bottle, pump-gas. Very cool guy. Tried a second run, but shut down suddenly when we both saw a cop on the other side making a turn. Doh!
Two weeks ago: Denver, downtown, I-25 Northbound, right after getting off the Park Ave. ramp. Maroon mid-90's Mustang GT, black Saleen graphics, Vortech sticker. RAN from him twice from 3rd gear rolls, up to around 100 or so, no bottle, 100-octane. Pulled over at 52nd Wendy's. He had a Vortech blower running 10 lbs., intake, huge throttle-body, full exhaust, 2001 motor, other goodies, etc. Another shocked victim, but cool guy.
Same night, race-2: Denver, 6th ave, west from I-25. Metallic blue Subaru 2.5 RS, fully built to the hilt, upgraded turbo, ALL the goodies, says he's beaten BPU RX7-tt's, weighs less than 3000 lbs! Ran from him up to around 120, no bottle, 100-octane. Yet another shocked victim. Cool guy, apparently joining the police academy. Heheh.
Out of all of these, I think the Scooby might have actually been the fastest (but only barely). Probably due to its insane light-weight.
