let me know whats the fastest car street legal in CO. cause we might be coming up there to visit. My project car is near finish and its 99 ls body. Making road trip to CA to get engines so would be stoppin in bolder area to visit friends and family.

nope but a friend he is the one that build carys' ls, he is making my custom turbo manifold soon i will be Stoopid fast. Good to see the Stoopid fast travels around. Guess you seen the vid of him agaisnt that viper from a dig.

Who hasn't seen that video? Many of us roam around on H-T as well. I personally don't have a fast car as of yet, but I know they are here. Some of them are in the process of a build up from blown engines, or mishaps with thieves and such, but I'll let those guys speak for themselves.

From what I understand, Stoopid built both cars (Viper and Civic). The Viper runs 10's N/A and 9s with nitrous. Can you clarify any of that? Oh and by the way, we are all in Colorado, not California. Sometimes it feels like it though.:eek:

yah pretty much true don't really know to much about the viper. how is turbo aspired cars @ that alt. plus to add think about this the cars that are built by Jason has ac and full interior nothing gutted. and runs good numbers(can't tell you track times) but my best time was 15.7@86mph(winke winke);););)

I don't have a turbo (yet) but from what I understand, N/A cars loose at least a second, while turbo cars loose as much as 8 tenths of a second.

o yah jason,and cary r not the ones coming it me and about 12 other cars that will be making the road trip and a 2-3 u-hauls also. never took my car to cali can't wait there are some very fast dailly drivers out there.

my older brother actually meet cheezefrog a few weeks ago at a meet in Houston. Hopefully there will be another meet when i'm down there or I'd love to see that car run at baytown at all import night.

my car is so slow through on the track i bogg out @ the line all the time, but i still love to go to the track through maybe we can meet you @ the track when we stop in bolder.

FWIW, the quickest & fastest street car (that I know of) is a twin turbo mustang, ran low 9s last year, with the driver lifting every time the slicks lit up. Should be well into the 8s this year, and hopefully street legal.

My old car would was a 10 second car, but I never got to run with slicks. 11.9 @ 126 and 11.4 @ 123 on street tires.

Bring it. There are a number of street cars here which would probably relish the chance to run. :)
