well, finally had someone want to play. first race was from a light with a basically stock I-4 accord (not sure which trim)... wasn't positive he wanted to go, so I let him jump first... caught him at middle of second, and then I was gone. I slowed up to chat and I see a different accord jump in front of the first. I make the mistake of slamming into second as he passes, quckly bounce of the rev. limiter, grab third, and catch him... the light changes in front of use so I know its on. again, easy on the clutch, so he gets the jump... doesn't matter, I'm at his rear bumper, then gone.
We pull over to talk and they are laughing. Cool guys, first victom thought he was going to slaughter a civic, then he heard the spool up, and blow of, and knew he was screwed. V6 guy didn't relize what he was in for until he heard the same. His car did sound mean as shit though, he did have intake, and comptech headers and dual exhaust... sounded pretty good. He said he wasn't going to race anyone else until he got his NO2 filled... guess I was lucky he was empty... hopfully it would have been close though :)
gotta be the first two "serious" races I've had down here... always cool to race people that aren't dicks when they loose :)
