The reason WHY i did it is simple. A plain old xbox just isn't appealing to the eye. Yes i know you can get skins for it.....but who want's to put a fuckin sticker on anything (thats rice to me). So i painted it :).

Next is the controller.......THEN the PS2 :)

it depends on what kind of paint you use and how you finish them. Its normally not a good idea to paint plastic however...its going to destroy the "feel" of the controller, and unless you really do some prep work..its going to look like ass.

I kinda understand wanting to mod an x-boXen..but seriously...at least do something fun to it while you have it torn apart. Just my $.02.

And the paint will NOT wear off the controller....washing the controller first...letting it dry......3-4 coats of paint and then 4-5 coats of clear will keep it on :)

there are only two things that are aceptable to have the title of rice. 1. a computer. mine is rice. ill admit it. its got a black front bezel, and silver panels. i painted it black on the inside, and i have a neon. I like it, thats all that matters.
2. an xbox. though i havent done anything to mine yet, werent the original specs on the xbox showing that it was supposed to glow green or something? i vaguely remember seeing it. maybe im confused though. anyway, finding a green cold cathode, and your trusty dremel, you can turn that box into how it was supposed to look :)
