I went to get my caR dyno'd today and tuned by Tobi at Dyno Pro. I started off running real lean but the overall result was a nice gain in the mid range where I gained 15 horsepowR and 12.7 ft/tq. The top end stayed the same and the fields unit sucks for tuning since it does it by 1000rpm increments and the a/f cruve needed a little tuning in between the rpm's.
Here is the chaRt.

Blue line is starting point, Blue lines are after tuning a little.
Nice gains! your tuner must be good. :)

what's sick is I make more HP and torque than you, but the only reason you're faster in the 1/4 is because of the weight difference.

Have you ever dynoed your car?

Yeah, when I was at 6 PSI, I had it dynoed at Paragon and got 141 HP and I forget the torque, like 112 or something. Now that I've got 8 PSI, high flow cat, Cartech, better timing, lower VTEC crossover, etc. etc., I'm guessing around 165 on the HP. With the nitrous I should be close to if not over 200 HP... I hope to have it dyno'd again by Tobi sometime this summer.

No i think about 2150-2300 with me in it. I don't know if I can hit a high 14 with that power and the weight, could be very close though!

i should be at 128/123
http://hybrid2.honda-perf.org/tech/b20/dyno/b20baseline.gif
i am close in mods:
98 B20B stock head and block, 94 P75/LS ecu
Intake: GSR stock cone filter and tube (no airbox), LS intake manifold, 64mm TB
Ex: GSR exhaust manifold, test pipe, Greddy BL exhaust
Comments: 128hp to the wheels is rougly 150hp to the flywheel. Interesting since the engine is rated only 126 hp flywheel.
and this was at sea level, i think.
should i be expecting a dyno like that?

Here is the a/f graph, notice how lean she was running
TedR719

Tobi if you see this here are some questions
I was looking at some other dyno graphs and I know see that the powerband doesnt pull all the way to redline, kinda drops a little, now will the exhaust cam make that much of a difference? (I've seen R cams make power all the way pass 8k easy) I also will be trading out the Fields Unit for the VAFC once the AFCII becomes popular so we have more room to tune with. Will fixing the "bumps" in the powerband create more power of just be more of smoothing out the a/f and having a strong running motor.
I'm very please on how the car pulls, and vtec isnt just a noise I can accually feel the kick when it crosses over. I really wanna go boosted but really dont wanna dump that much $$ into it and wanna have a less headache with my car. So maybe a few more upgrades and a goal of a 14 second b16 up here in Colorado is not that far away (depending on a few situations).

I dyno'd my d16z6 way back in the day at that same place and I believe I layed down 109hp and 99tq.
JRSC @ 6psi = 32hp and 13tq just doesnt seem right  but I know that is just peak numbers, too bad we cant compare the full charts.

oh and also Tobi since we have the fuel pressure at a upper pressure for "stock" do you think upgarding the injectors to somthing slightly bigger would help if I plan on going with ctr intake and exhaust combo going to 8400 or would a ctr ecu be the better way to go. (Not sure on what CTR injectors are rated at vs. mine)

I would have to shead about 150-200 lbs and I think I could hit a 14.9 -14.8 with what I have now and drag radials or if I can find a way to make about 15 more hp with the weight I have now then a 14.9999 on a good day :)
The best as it sits I think will be a 15.3

ctr injectors are the same size, 240cc, as is ITR injectors.
Also, I have a D16Y8, not a Z6... should be a bit more powerful, plus it had I/H/E, V-AFC at the time too in addition to the SC. What matters is the area under the curve, and I've got more area!

Yeah but, hasn't Teds car been faster at the track? It hought you ran yours with 8 psi. Or am I mistaken? he has a best of like a 15.5, wasn't yours a low 16 or high 15?

As I said before, it's the weight... I've got roughly 400+ pounds on him with or without me in the car. Yes 8 PSI is correct, and I ran a 15.8 last season, but I should be able to hit 15.5 or better on Sunday :D

slow mid 18s to mid 19s, depending on driver, temperature, and tires.

17's
After a few mods in my 92 Si hatch (same motor) My best was 16.69 and 94hatch pulled off a 16.10 I believe in his CX. In a ex coupe since they weight a little more you should be hitting 17's stock.
I dont think geo's are that slow 18-19 come on now...
