Lets here some stories about destroying domestics. I know I drive one, but i like to hear about the guys who are full of themselves. Hell maybe one day i'll be in here as another victim we'll see.:D Stories about really fast domestics are good to, then we can find them and destroy them.:guns:

Last fall I had a stoplight to stoplight race with a late model TransAm (LS1? WS6?) - kid looked at me like "WTF are you thinking you can take this...?" He got a quick nose jump on me but I pulled even and was pulling past by the top of 2nd. His look as I passed him was PRICELESS!

i had some guy in a gold mustang gt(we all know how SOME of those guys are) go flying past me as i was cruising home from work. at the next stop light my old man stopped early and blocked traffic a tad so i could get next to him. he revs on me and i just held it up a little and he tried to take off on me, i punched hit 2nd pulled it to third and by then i had more car lengths on him then i could count. so we are cruising and he tries me from like a 35 mile an hour roll. he got mutilated again. at the next stop light he tries be cool and do a little burn out so smoked all the way through the intersection until i most hit some van. he pulls up to me and says thats ok it ain't mine and does a u. poor guy probaly went home and bought a minivan. i can't imagine how many dsms embarrased that guy.

trans am guys are awefully proud of themselves generally. right up to the point a car like yours or a dsm hands em there ass. if it is a ws6 it should say it on the center of the rims. the faster ones have the ramair hoods on them

Here's a video of me pulling an 02 semi-modded Trans-Am WS6 ram-air. He said it ran 12's last season an bandi with less mods so the fact that I beat him makes me very excited for my first day at the track. Also notice at the end of the video he uses the classic excuse. The funny thing is I also missed 3rd... We raced again and it was a little closer, he got a better launch but I still won by 1 car length or so the second time.

well I was at a stoplight in my moms Ford F-150 w/ a 5.4L V8 and I pulled up next to some stock import. Well we had to merge lanes so I thought "I will floor it to get infront of him to merge" well he had the same idea and he beat me by about 4 car lengths.

I have atleast one. once at bandimere I staged next to this beater looking 5.0, I launched on him and immediatley had a little distance when the next thing I knew this guy blew past me like I was in reverse. he ran a 9.xxx to my 14 flat. I thought I had him from the get go... just goes to show the awd launch is one bad ass advantage but after the launch some will hunt you down and fuck you up.

I scared a guy off in my stock tsi before. He had a Mustang GT/Cobra/Saleen S351 (badging everywhere). Hes redneck as fuck and had his hick girlfriend with him. We were going about 15mph, he decided to rev it up and dump it next to me. Loud as hell, but only pulled about a car after flooring it for at least 3 seconds. I laughed at him. Put it in 1st, revved it up to about 6500 and dumped it. Pulled about 4 cars real quick on him. Slowed back down to play some more and he slowed down to keep from gettin beside me. It was funny as fuck

The first mustang 5.0 I raced after I got my swap in and clutch broken in. The first time we both dropped from a roll and we stayed right next to each other, he let off early. The next time we dropped (from a roll again) the 5.0 pulled two car lengths and then I walked past him in 2nd, the 5.0 didnt shut down til I was two car lengths ahead of him.

At the last borderwar I attended I took down a built bottom end/heads/cams/150 shot/slicks late model T/A LS1 which the owner claimed was a consistent 11.20s car at bandimere. I took him down by 4-5 carlengths. Twice.

I had a little run in with a stock looking Cavalier tonight. It was plain..black..I think it may have been a late 90's or early 2000's Z24...guess I dont know them that well.

Anyway, it was a girl driving it blabbering on a cell phone..she was trying to pass me on the right..(this was on the short lane of 120th) needless to say..I stepped it up a bit...she got back behind me. Tried to pass me on the left..same thing. After a while I think she was getting pissed and gave up..blew by me after there was a break in traffic and I got bored with her...(I dont really like speeding on the street in the new car) she blew by me..it was kinda funny.

I guess this isnt a umm...FAST domestic story...or even a real RACE story...but it was pretty damn funny. I remember the first time I raced a new Z24 last year at Bandi...she was SURE she could take out my Si...lets just say it wasnt a pretty race at all. (for her)

The new car on the other hand...well...its just a cavalier eating monster. Anyone have one that they want to line up against the E8?

well...maybe if you drove a domestic! I dont have any fascinations about racing another DSM on the street...I think it could end up being a very fast race very quickly. Besides..I can slap cavaliers around without even spooling the turbo up.. ;)

I ate up a Firebird Formula down in the Springs (in the Audi). I wasn't sure that he wanted to race, so I took it easy off the launch. Then, he hit it and the lane in was in was ending. I pulled in front of him and kept pulling. I suprised myself that day. :D

I have beat a couple domestics.... ok a dozen... ok fine... 30+, but it's not fair anyways. I love domestics so I won't talk shit. Once the Supra is paid off, I will either buy another one or go for a T/A WS6. I love that damn car. I would do all the regular bullshit bolt ons and then add like 150 shot. Maybe even Supercharge or Turbo that beast. If all goes as planned the Supra will be a fully built to the tilt Single with Methanol and or nitrous before it's paid off. I have a love for Domestics and certain imports. Sure would love a 1st gen GSX for my daily/Winter Driver. Anyone know where to pick one up for a decent price? I am selling the SVT Contour to pickup something cheaper. I might even pickup a 95-96 Accord EX. Just need something dependable I guess.

Yeah money can be an issue, I just don't think I have room for four cars. I am selling the hooptie and the contour, so then I will have less insurance and less cars. Just need a car that can be used for both winter and summer daily driving. Hell maybe I can put some snow tires on the supra and bang it around in the snow and it's fresh paint job. Oh wait....I just nausiated myself. If anyone has leads on some Honda accords or 1st Gen GSX's...let me know.

yeah be rear wheel drive withpower is bad for snow whats worse for me is the 4.88 gears and a posi. there is a couple 1 st gen in ebay didn't look long enough to find an awd though.

I've beaten more domestics than I can count. I used to have a running tally of the number of mustangs I had taken down in my signature. I think it was up to 11 or 12. Those were all with my civic running 10 psi through a supercharger. I don't get as many races in my GTI, but I have taken out a C5 vette (stock or cloe to stock), a couple of SS Camaro's, and a couple 96-98 Cobra's.

Well...here is what the official E8 website lists...

Curb Weight -> 3263 lbs

GVWR -> 4222 lbs

Soooo...its not quite as heavy as everyone thought it was going to be. Its not a fast car from a roll...but it will defiantely get out of its own way off the line. :)

I was drivin around minding my own bidness in my Civic DX bubbleback thats hooked up I got the windows tinted, chromed out everything. Even my hubcaps.. shit they almost look like rims when im drivin. I pulled up at a stoplight next to my worst enemy... a domestic. I looked over, it had Tennessee plates, flowmasters, big daisy musclecar wheels, big radials, nascar stickers, and rust spots. That shit sounded mean, yeah... that was one fast lookin Winnebago. I cranked down my window and yelled at the big inbred southern hick. What you doin sucka? He tilted his orange hunting hat and said I'm movin. I told him that he would be movin a hell lot faster in a Honda. Thats when he started revvin his engine... man it sounded mean. Damn I wonder why hes even botherin to race... I guess he didnt see the Type R and GT-R badges I bought at pep boys. I was a little worried at first cause my car aint that fast off the line, but I took a screwdriver and punched like thirty holes all over my rusty muffler to ease backpressure. So along with my aluminum wing I knew I had him on top end. I took my car out of drive into neutral and revved it up as high as it could go. I turned my upside down tennis visor backwards so it wouldnt obstruct my view of the road. Then I buckled my Type R yellow 4 point harness and sweated it out for the green.

BAMMMMM! The light wuz GREEN... All hell broke lose! I dropped it into drive and my tires almost screeched a little bit... I think. The Winnebago was haulin butt though... BAMMM!!! I pretend to manually shift it into second. I gots the timing down now, so my pretend shifts are always on target with the real ones. Shit! That Winnebago is dead even with me. I hear his revs rising and hes haulin butt. BAMMM!!! I pretend to shift it into third... shit! Bad pretend shift, he starts pullin on me so I make a pissed face and pretend to miss third. To make it worse... I hit a pothole and see one of my hubcaps fly off and hit his mobile home. Fuck! That shit cost 6 dollars! Oh no... I'm roundin out third and this guys still pullin hard Im almost at his bumper. I think really hard to myself What would the guy from The Fast and the Furious do? Oh YEAH! The little red button on my steering wheel. Hit the little red BUTTON!!!!! I reach down and hit the button!!! Oh fuck! I don't have nitrous! The little red button is only to turn on all fiftyseven of my custom smurf blue euro foglights!!! but this works to my advantage anyway, blinding the domestic redneck racer temporarily. My car hits fourth finally... I pull up to his rear quarterpanel while the blinded redneck fumbles around for his ZZ top ray ban's. I know Im gonna win now. YES! I pull past the redneck reaching the death defying speed of 55 miles per hour. Then throw on all 20 of my euro hazard lights!!!!! Whew... that was close! After this race I poked more holes into my muffler to make sure it wouldnt happen again. Chalk another one up for the CIVIC!!!
