4 point reduced to 2 probably plus ~$60 dollar fine, that's what it was for me in LKWD with the same thing. I thought I was going to get busted this morning, a stupid cop stopped at the light when I went through cause it turned green, I didn't even bother looking over to see if he was looking at him cause I know he was. Alas, he never caught up with me, muahahah.

some cities do, some don't. when i got a speeding ticket in lakewood, it took them 4 weeks to send me a post card with how many points the ticket was, weather or not i can plea bargin, and what not

You will most likely be able to plea bargain it down to 2 points mean it goes as a defective vehicle on your insurance. And the fine will be between 50 and 70 bucks.
Then it will be off your record exactly two years to the sentencing.

it should be around 4 points because i had 2...But you can probably defer it, instead of just plea bargaining. Deferring is where for a year they watch your driving and if you don't get any tickets in that time, the ticket will be voided but you still have to pay the fine. In the Springs the ticket was 4pts and $80 for me, both times.
(4 tickets...just got my license back last Thursday, haha)

Failure to Stop at a stop sign is a Class A infraction and a four point violation that stays on your record for three years. Now this one ticket can mean as much as 1000.00 extra in insurance premiums. That's a lot of incentive to keep it off you record. If you have other tickets it can be a LOT more than that. Check with your insurance agent.
The best way out is to call the clerk of court and see if you are eligible for traffic school. Be sure the ticket will not go on your record. Colorado now accepts online traffic school.

Your next best bet is to try to catch the officer at shift change and try to get him to reduce it to a non moving violation. Begging is allowed.
If that doesn't work you may want to consider hiring an attorney. Usually they can work something out and are cheaper than paying the insurance over three years.

Yeah, in colorado, I always thought tickets would stay on your state driving record for 1 year, and on your insurance record for 3 years.
