Finally they realeased the new software and the new features are really cool.
New log trigger function allows you to start logging when a cetain setting is hit like 80% throttle,no more hitting "start" in the staging lanes. It also has an alarm feature so you know if you are hitting a "danger" area like too much knock and now your Palm can "beep" at you to let you know.

Sweet, I was just getting ready to order the older software in a few weeks... now I can get the new stuff :)
Does it require a better palm than the older software?
I don't really understand palms, all I know is I think I can get my hands on one that will work... ;)

I bought my logger about a year ago and am getting ready to download V2.0 and it all works with even the basic Palm m100 which I have. Once you order the software most future updates are free,you just pay once.

I finally got my software but now I can't try it out till the damn snow melts. :mad:

I did however make sure it woks fine and tried out the alarm function while it was just sitting in the garage,pretty neat stuff and I can't wait to try it out at the strip.

The trigger function sounds sweet.
I'll get mine upgraded after the rush is over.

Vern,you'll really like the new stuff and it finally has an auto log memory feature so no more having to stop and name all the logs. It now names it by the time and the date when you finish logging.

Damn I hadn't heard that part yet. Definitely nice. I'm alwys trying to turn it off and name it at the timeslip shed, hehe.

Funny thing is I'd name them Run1 , Run2 and so on, so the time/date scenario is perfect.

That is exactly how I did it too. :D

I hated being ready to stage and trying to hit the "GO " button now you can hit "START" a few minutes before and then use the trigger function to start logging when the light turns green,I have mine set to trigger at 80% throttle.
