What should i get (for PC)? I was thinking C&C Generals, but a lot of people seemed to not like it. They said it wasn't C&C enough for them. AoM is getting pretty good reviews. I just need something to kill time with over spring break. My roomates both have BF1942 and it looks kind of interesting. Not really my kind of game but there seem to be some good mods in the works. The demo for impossible creatures was fun, but again reviews make it sound like a game that's cool the first few times, then once it comes out of your cd tray it doesn't go back in. Splinter Cell doesn't look like it's very good on the pc.

Get battlefield. Most of the guys I work with have been addicted to it ever since it came out. It's all they talk about. Two of them are even ranked fairly well from what I understand. I'm not a gamer but if I was, that's what I would buy.

BF1942 is one of the best games I've played in years, I'd say as addictive as Half-Life and GTA3. I haven't even touched the single player part of it yet, I'm too addicted to the multiplayer. There are plenty of 64 player servers that have good ping times (less than 100ms), 32 vs 32 is a blast to play. There's so much community support for BF1942, it'll be played for years to come (unlike most FPS that die out a few months after release). If you like FPS games at all, get it, you won't be dissappointed.

play alice... i love this game, you get to kill things, after playing it from like 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. straight (you gotta make sure you have no lights on anywhere and that its completley silent excpet for the music in the game) you turn crazy.

I FUCKIN LOVE GENERALS!, Get it, the mission storylines are wack but the multiplayer and skirimish set ups/ stratagy is the best yet. Seriously!
