View Full Version : Just got owned by a WRX

It was a black WRX with it looks like a MRT exhaust and rota subzero wheels. I was just going back to work and he comes out of the turn lane and guns it. I felt like I didn't have my foot on the gas it was that bad. I thought it was david's black WRX but it had different wheels.

Anyone know who this is and what the hell he has done? I guess that was a reminder to me that boost is your friend when you wanna go fast...

ha.. funny ownage pics.
i know a lot of WRXs in the area, but dont know one with MRT exhaust and SubZeros... wonder who it was.

Also had an piller of gauges. a/f was one of them that I could see. Also the wheels where black or gunmetel.

There are just way too many WRX's around here to even tell who is who anymore. I swear to god that people who just buy them off the lot think they are the shit...I guess they showed you right futureSI...LOL

He has SSR wheels I do believe with a polished lip unless he swaped them out. That thing did haul some ass though!

futuresi - :D. I was just out for a little drive and I look over and recognized you and I thought you had done some FI work so I cranked the wheel and even tried to wave but I don't think you saw it. I DO like the look of your car though... very subtle and clean... a little loud ;), but nice.

I do have SSR Competitions but I got these rotas CHEAP for winter rubber so it was me .... fun run though... was that DOHCnonVTEC running around with you?

hahaha, good that makes me feel better knowing that it was your car. Man that thing hauls some serious balls!!! I wish I had FI done cause I would have at least been less than 10 bus lenghts behind! Yeah I saw your come over to the lane but didnt see you wave. When we where racing I was blown away by how far you where ahead of me I must have been sitting on my rev limiter for a second before I shifted again...

I have recieved my new muffler so now it will look nice and stock and not as loud. I have my sliencer out right now and it does get up there in sound. Thanks for the complement, I guess if it isnt fast I can make it look decent :)

I dont know who was in the green integra, I thought I would catch up to him to boost my ego a bit after losing so bad :D I was just going back to work so I wasn't out causing any trouble.

Hey david, When i get my new parts installed and broken in I want a shot at ya.
Im hoping to put the clutch in this weekend, if not then next weekend. Then I just gotta put about 500 miles on the clutch and ill be ready. BTW, Ive done a few other things since you last saw me when I ran with Dante(Inferno).

Sure no problem... know of any meets coming up? Or maybe just next time I see ya on the streets [heh]. That is the thing though I RARELY see anyone from the boards... maybe it has somthing to do with the fact I hardly ever just go "cruise" :).
