Simple answer, yes. But why not upgrade to something like a B16?

And he edited it, lol. Said something different when I looked at it.

yea i got a magazine (not sure which one it is, but i'll look around) shows a guy with an 87 CRX that swapped B16 into it. I "think" that the 88 up should fit in there but dont quote me on that.

To put the 88 Engine you will have to put the Front suspension in it as well. Then you will have to change over the wiring..

As for the B16, it is by far the hardest swap to do for you will need to change out almost the entire front end. We did one for a guy in Austin TX. and I wish to never do one again.. It was fast but not much faster then the 88-91. with everyhting that needs to be done, I would just sell it and get an 88-91.

The cost of it is not worth it by the time it is done you could have gotten an 88-91 with a ZC or something..

I got detailed instructions how to put a ZC engine or 86 to 89 integra D16A1 into a 3rd gen civic and 1st gen CRX

I have also have instructions on getting the B16 into the same cars.

The B16 reqires $700 motor mounts and custom axles from HASPORT while the ZC requires basically the front end of an integra

I am looking to do the ZC when I can find the money

u can pick up ZC longblocks for $400, they aren't expensive at all. If you get it with the tranny it's still only $600. check out www.hmotorsonline.com
