I decided I hate Obd2 and will be eliminating my secondary o2 sensor so I can run a test pipe for tuning purposes and at the track. I don't want the check engine light to bug the shit out of me(and I want to be able to know if I get any "real" codes as well)
Anybody have any experience with any of these "spoofs" or any other way to leave the 2nd o2 sensor disconnected with no CEL?

Thanks for any info.

why not just relocate the sensor? jegs sells the weld in O2 sensor bung for $9. then just put it up by the other sensor. or how about tapping into the wires from the other sensor, make the ecu think it is getting readings from 2 sensors.

Hmm, interesting...That would work I bet but but the wires would have to be extended quite a bit in order to do that.

The problem is that the secondary O2 is not for fuel trim tuning. It is merely a check sensor for the OBD-II ECM to verify cataletic converter function. It compares the two signals and verifies cat operation that way. You can run an O2 sim or convert to OBD-I and eliminate it.

how difficult is the obd-1 conversion?? & what parts are required?
what obd-1 ecu would you use on a type-R?

obd-2 to obd-1 harness
p72 ecu

so you might as well just go with the hondata then i suppose...
