fuel guage not working...??

My fuel guage on my cluster stopped working not too long ago. even tried putting in a different guage cluster and that didnt help so i know that's not my problem. Anyone have any suggestions as to what it could be?

Maybe a fuse? Could be the fuel level sender as well. Maybe something in the tank broke.. better go fish out the parts before it gets sucked into your engine through the fuel system. It seems your car is always falling apart, you don't want something else to happen to it do you?

i heard my fuel pressure sending unit could have gone bad...i just really dont feel like spending $108 on a new one...and how would i get anything out of the tank when it's sealed? Yes my car is always falling apart..it is a P.O.S. Hopefully i will get a new car soon and not have to worry about this anymore.

when you had the guage cluster out did you check the wires and see if they are getting power ?

hmm, no i didnt check that. Since they are little plugs that plug into the cluster, how would i check something like that? do they have a special tool for it?
