Well finally after a long time of waiting I was able to dyno. The night started out when me forgetting to mention to Tobi that we still needed to install the VAFC. Not to mention that I didn't have a harness so it took about an hour and a half to install and Tobi cramped inside the car. Thanks Tobi, I still owe you dinner.
Anyways we got to the dyno and the first runs we did the rpm reading were jumpy, so they spent a couple of runs trying to find a good connection. After 4 runs we had good readings and my first run the car made 304 hp and 190 something tq on a stock Vortech kit:eek: With a little tweaking the car pushed 308 hp, then a couple of runs after and more adjustments the car laid down 322 hp and 196.7 tq. That was the peak hp for the night, after that tobi just adjusted the air/fuel to a good curve and the final result is 319 hp 196 lbs/tq. I couldn't be happier that my car put down some impressive #'s;RoCkOn;

Also what did the Vortech cost and did you have Honda install it so you could still have it under warranty

Stock ranges from 190 to 210. I think my best stock was 194 with 1000 mile on the motor.

The kit cost $4500, I had Tobi install it and the only SC that would keep the factory warranty is the comptech if installed by honda.

And the sound of the blower is AWESOME

Those are some awesome hp numbers you are putting down. I bet that kicks ass in that car. Is there anymore torque to be gained though?

Probably a little more with a fully tunable ECM, but not that much more. The blower is centrifugal so the boost rises with the rpms so I don't see a way to get more torque. But hey I don't know that much about cars, maybe someone can shine in with their over whelming wealth of knowledge.

I think it suits those cars though because of their stock powerband. YOu also can't deny those hp and tq numbers.....

Very impressive.

The F20C is a peaky motor to begin with, I dont think they would last too long with a lot of tourque down low. It has such a smooth powerband though I have not heard nor do I have any complaints while driving. Just a shit-eatin grin. if you look at that graph closely, there is a 75 ft/lb torque jump right at 4k so its doing its work early to get some good low rev power.

I know from a roll it would pull on me and that's even if I push 20psi.
Maybe we'll have to find out,I got my 550s and a new fuel pump going in the car tomorrow.

Yes and it'll be sweet and I'll finally have you guys off my back.

(not to self: Never brag about future mods being ready to go in and then wait two seasons to install them) :mad:
