well i was at the bar the other day talking to a gentlemen who has this audi hat on... guess hes an audi freak and supposedly has a few quick audis. one being a 1990 with a j-spec front end on it. so me and my buddy roll up next to him tonight and he wants to race. (keep in mind i just got my clutch put in and just bought my supra... never launched before) and hes got awd.. but either way i get the jump on him awesome launch! and continued to pull away from him untill top of 3rd i had 5 cars on him according to my buddy since my eyes were on the road. then i stopped and tried to flag him down to give him props but he just took off. o well i thought it was a good kill considering what he told me he had the other night at the bar.. dont remember what exactly but he said it was very quick .. had tons of gauges and other toys. o well i thought it was phat MY FIRST KILL IN MY MK4!!!

well ive had the car for a little over a week now. but the clutch was shot when i got it so i just started driving it a few days ago.. no mods yet. bone stock, but i have an akimoto intake, auto meter a/f and boost gauges, strut tower brace, and jet chips boost cut controller in my garage, ill probobly wait untill i get my exhaust before i put anything on.. kinda enjoying it stock for a few b4 i go crazy and dump tons of cash into this thing. but i will be getting an apexi gt spec cat back (95mm) and a 3" downpipe when i do get my exhaust. other than that i dont have too many plans for future mods. cars got 121K on it so im gonna stay with the stock twins for a while. motor runs real strong but ill replace the motor b4 i go with a single setup.

Well I do have some comments for you. I haven't heard anyone have success with the Jet chips boost cut controller on a Supra. The Greddy BCC is the one that is typically used. A supra that was well taken care of won't need a new long block to go single. If the motor was taken care of then you have 200+K miles. I have seen a 150k mile Supra short block that had cylinder walls that were smooth as a babies butt. Miles aren't that critical with proper maintanence. If the car feels strong then just go with. Stock twins and valve stem seals might be the weakest link when you go BPU and hammer the boost.

Congrats on the kill. MKIV's are a lot of fun. Please give me a call soon. I have a 93.5 auto that runs 11's in the 1/4. Bpu + nos. I am in touch with a lot of the supra owners and can get you set up on the cheapest deals around on parts for your car. Have you had a compression test done on the car?

compression shows good, 149,155,152,157,150,154.. i might be a few points off there. i know they are all mid 150's and one 149er. car pulls real hard .. everything feels good on the car. and im not really worried about the milage too much since it is in damn good shape for its age. just wanna take er easy for a little and make sure everythings cool with the car b4 i beat it up.pm me with a price for a gt spec spexi exhaust and a downpipe if you can get a hook up on it. you got any pics of yer car? what color? also ill be cruisin out in longmont tonight (dont flame me, just like to go cruise) you should roll out there and let me check out yer ride!

Congrats - they are awesome cars. Here's my old one, which I sold last November: http://www.dynopro.com/mhhr_detail.asp?ID=150
