I was on my way to work the other day going down Park Ave. East just off the I-25 and there was a Trans-Am in front of me in the left lane so I got behind him and he just happened to turn left on Market St. the same way I was going and we just happen to catch the red light right there at Broadway. I looked over and he was starin me down, I was like WTF does this guy want? I was like "FINALLY" someone to race. I looked around and there was nobody around except for some bum sittin on the sidewalk. The light turned green and I launched from about 5K and got a little clutch slippage but still had about 3-4 cars on him to 50mph then he started creepin up and at about 120-130mph he only had about a fender length on me. I was happy considering all I got for mods is a small 16G at 16psi, K&N filter and a gutted MAS, and a good driver. Oh well I got an idea of how fast it is now. Can't wait for the fawkin track to open.

Nice, you don't mean the Market in the middle of Downtown Denver do you?

Exactly what I was thinking... I can't think of a space big enough to safely get up over 120 in the Park Ave / Broadway / Market area. Must have been a crazy run! Congrats on keeping up with the big boys.

Good kill but from a roll the LS1s are pretty hard to run with. I raced my friend's '02 SS from a 40 mph roll we hung together but by 120 he had a half a car on me but I still owned him at the strip by a full second. This is with 17psi so I hope to have a rematch when I'm over 20psi.

Right after where Market st. turns into Walnut St. going north right past Park Ave. West. I wouldn't have went that fast "in the middle" of town. It's just a bunch of warehouses and stuff down there so no worries.
