sup guys i'm not really familiar with denver and colorado. i am tryin to get some lowering springs installed on my car and i've talked to paragon, import sports, and racing trenz and they all quote me $160.00+ for installation. back east and in cali they only charge like $80.00 or less than $100 for spring installation...my question is, is that considered normal for around here?? if not do you guys know anywhere else they will install my springs for less than $160?? Thanks!

Springs are easy to install. I'm sure someone from the board will be willing to help you out for a lot less then those quotes.

I asked for some help putting in springs a while back, and a few people from here showed interest in it, so on one saturday, we met up at my house and installed on my car and then put springs on another guys car. Had a good time and got my springs in for free. It was a great deal. That's what I love about this board; people are always willing to help out.

If you like I can help you out.. just pm me and we can set something up...
Stu: $100 for a spring install is a raping.. It is the easiest thing to do on Honda's and Acura's and only takes about an hour max..
On the New Sentra it is still quite easy and can be done in like an hour and half..
Thanks

Man I tell you, the shops in Denver just rob people.. at my shop in Austin when you bought the springs from us we'd install them for you for $30 and if you brought em in we'd do it for $60.
and that was pretty average for Texas

funny how in COSR.com they are offended by me saying how spring installation here in CO is an assraping and how $160.00 for spring installation is cheap. one of the moderators over there is gettin all hotheaded. read this thread on page 2.

The people here are cool enough to offer to do your springs for free, that's great. I have friends like that too and you should take advantage of it. Take care. If it makes you feel any better, I took my exclamation mark out, just for you. Heheh.
