Today I was on my way to visit my dad and I happened to run across an white BMW M coupe. He was next to me at the light at Union and academy. Well the light turned green and we rolled off and went from about a 5 mph roll. By the top of first I had put a car length on him so I stopped. I never got a chance to talk to the guy as he would not look at me from that point on. Oh well I was proud to see the Jetta put him down:)

Specs on 2k M Coupe

3.2 I-6 - 240hp 236 ft lbs tq
13.9 - 1/4mile
weight - 3049

hes gonna loose at least 1 sec due to altitude while steve will lose less. so his 14.9 up here is slower than steve. he should be in the mid 14's or lower with his mods

Forgot about elevation ehh ;). Factor that in and Steve would kill one with no problem.

Oh and if we were at sea level there is still a good chance steve would have won. His car should be in the high 13-low14 range at or near sea level.

It was a white M coupe...one of the hartop Z3 cars. YEah at best thta qwould be a high 14 second car up here, I figure they are about as fast maybe a little slower than the new M3's. I have seen the new M3's run 14.9's at bandi and I am faster that.
