I ran across a couple video's of a turbo VR6 that runs 10.80's in street trim. The server it's on appears to be down right now, but it should be back shortly here is the link http://c3cars.com/
Here are direct links to the movies

Just as a little breakdown on the EIP turbo stages. This car has a stage 3 kit with the 2.9 liter pistons fro mthe stage 4 kit. Stage 4 puts down 450+ wheel hp as kit you can buy. They also have a stage 5 which is good for 500+ wheel hp. Finally they have a stage 6 which is good for 680+ wheel hp. Turbo VR6's are awesome :)

if anyone is gonna go this way Be very very careful about EIP. I have heard of many people haveing problems with them. Stuff about waiting for 5 months with no product being sent. People have gone as far as take them to court I beilieve. If you were local it would be better. They do make some sweet kits and big hp though.

My friend had an older GTi VR6 with a SC kit on it. Up here he only had about 3psi of boost, but that was really nice. Im sure it would have pulled 14s no problem. those 2.8/2.9s are great motors.

Yo thanks for the post!!
I haven't heard any horror stories about EIP but I have heard that they do take a looooog time. I'm not going to name anyone but I've heard horror stories about many tuners.
Remember it's hard being a tuner... things aren't always as easy as an intake or exhaust (especially turbo work/tuning).
I actually visited EIP and took videos of the shop and the cars currently being worked on and I'm convinced that service at their shop is well worth the wait. The videos will be in the next issue of Graviton at http://C3Cars.com and after watching them I think people will agree.
People need to have realistic expectations and judge Tuners based on intension - meaning: did the tuner intentionally rip you off or delay?
I think tuners need to do a better job of setting customer expectations... but they are probably afraid of loosing business and turning customers away by telling the truth which might be something like: we can't get to your car for 6 months.

EIP does make some bad-ass cars. I think the end product is good, but it sucks if it's true about the service. The product is nothing without the support to get it out to the customer. But if I knew in advance of how long it would take, I could wait it out and not be pissed at them.

Well regardlesss of them being good there isn still a huge problem with having to wait 5-6 months for anything. If you say you make a kit to be sold, then there is no reason from the consumers standpoint that you should have to wait for that long for it to be delivered to you. Hell you shouldn't have to wait that long to have anything installed either. I am sure they make good stuff and are very competent tuners, but that does not excuse the stories I have heard about people waiting months on end for a product. I know there are a lot of stories about a lot of tuners out there, but I hear a lot more aobut EIP than I do most of the others( in the VW world at least).
