View Full Version : Boosted GT Owned Me.

I raced a kid from longmont in a Red/Maroon Mustang GT.. I was excited to see a GT rolling around at first.. I head a Whining noise (very soft/faint)... I rolled up on him.. herd the blower and saw the Gofast guages on his piller.. He got on it.. YEP boosted.. I got on it.. Yep boosted.. we where both a little supprised. He did beat me a little bit.. we both pulled over and poped our hoods.. He has a "Procharger" and a FMIC pushing 9psi...I am also running ~9.5-10.5 PSI (temp dependant). He beat me by a tiny bit.. Pritty nice car for a 18sh yr old kid. nice guy.. I guess i need to get a new pully and see what happends after that.. Looked to be a VERY easy kit to install on that stang.

Actually for all that I read, that kit is kind of a pita to install. Mostly due to the intercooler piping. How fast did you guys race to? That's deffinately a top-end charger on that stang. Also what kind of power are you making with your 8.8 SC swap? I'm down in longmont on occasion, if you are ever out around there look for a black 02 GT with a 2K Cobra R bumper on it. I'm not down there all the time but if I am down there I'll probably be with a couple guys that drive a red 95 GT, and a white 94 Cobra (Cobra R replica).

We didn't get up going very fast.. because we where in town w/ traffic and cops. I dynoed at PFI's dyno day w/ my current setup minus a couple small mods 235.5hp and 313.3TQ. Feel free to make your self noticed if you see me in longmont I am the only Lumina Z34 rolling around.
