getting ready to order my exhaust and downpipe just wondering if you need to get a test pipe for the middle cat or does the exhaust hook right up to the downpipe cause i dont want any cats.

For which brand? For most you will need a test pipe to replace the space where the cat was.

Most of the downpipes replace the downpipe and front midpipe(3rd cat). Some only replace the downpipe. Tell us what downpipe you ordered.

i am looking at a hks hyper exhaust and a invidia downpipe thats what im looking at right now but not 100% sure right now but more than likely that will be it. just need to know if i need that test pipe cuz i want to do it all at once.

I have the Xs engeering (sp) down and mid pipe with not cat. Look at a pic of the down pipe if it just a "I" shape then you need a mid pipe, if it's more of an "L" if you will then it should hook up to a catback setup. If it says hooks up to cat backs then I highly doubt it need a test pipe.
