hehe, had some fun on the way to erics place today. Cruisin back from his work we saw a 5.0 goin the same way we were gonna go on 104th. He gets in the middle lane, im in the left, and violators in the right. The guy in the stang looks at me, then at eric, looks straight and drops. We all drop and i start pullin on both of em, come to 3rd gear im ahead by about a car and of course i had to misshift, i figured fsck it, ill watch. Got to watch eric pull him pretty good. Then the guy didnt wanna play anymore :D wonder why? hehe. Oh well, fun times :D

I like the SI exhaust. It's so silent. It sounds really cool too on the throttle... If I'm cruising and I step on it but still out of boost, i hear a constant whoosh of exhaust going through the header and out the exhaust, almost like a turbo sound... When I go WOT and into boost, I hear that and mostly just the blower. Such a sleeper, I love it! Let me know when you can get me the rest of it.

Hmm, hey Eric, would you like to throw me a little cash for trading my muffler? I have the rest of the piping in my garage Scott, or it might be at Bedlam's place. Nice kills anyway guys.....

What piping? AFAIK, I've got a full SI exhaust, the piping and the muffler. How much are you looking to get out of him, he still owes me some extra $.

I thought you meant on your post the rest of the exhaust. I didn't expect him to be trading a part that I lent him to help him out. What if I need to put it back on someday? Nothing personal Eric, but that is pretty fucked up.

I can throw you cash or track down another Si exhaust...I had planned to find another muffer, but either way.

Well another SI exhaust isn't the same as MY exhaust. I am seriously pissed Eric, you should have waited for that other one you keep telling me about. First a HID bulb goes to shit, I get sick, no fucking promotion at my thankless job, and now this.

AFAIK, he's got another SI exhaust on order for you Alex. If it's a big deal, we can swap out the axle back for the muffler he has on order, and you can have yours back.?

It's not that Scott. It's the fact that he's supposed to be my friend. It's cool that he's at least doing something about it. It's just been a shitty week and I have to vent somewhere.

Well, I do understand your frustration. I've had a shitty week so far too, and it's not even over yet. I'm pretty sure he's still your friend, and hope that I am too. I know you're concerned about some sort of replacement for it now instead of later, and that's good, but I'm pretty sure he didn't do it to piss anyone off. FWIW, I AIM'd him about the swap, and it was complete within 2-3 days I think. Had *I* known you had lent it to him, I would have held off on it for another week or so. This was something I wanted and was thinking about for months. I knew that it was originally your stock exhaust, but did not know whether or not Eric was free and clear to "trade" it. Eric is working on a solution, so let's not get pissed off at each other. I think by the end of next week, I'll have an SI exhaust, you'll have an SI exhaust, and he'll have a DC Sports exhaust, and everyone will be happy. Believe me, it'll work out fine, and in the grand scheme of things, this is miniscule. I'm underpaid and overworked too, just got a speeding ticket after just getting new insurance, found out I owe about $650 in taxes, trying to plan a wedding with the better half's 'rents' dragging their feet for a wedding I can't afford very much of, and I myself am not happy with life at this time. It's okay tho, we'll survive, and everything will work out!

nah, just a way of putting it. It said "for my better half" on the valentine's day card I got her. I'm learning to say "yes dear" to everything she asks me to do, it's quite wonderful  :D
