I got $9,800+ for my 96 GSR with over 150,000 miles on it. Is that bad?

Boy I hope not. I know when my first GTI was totaled they gave me the money for every mod and every piece of stereo equipment i nthe car. Guess it depends on your insurance company and your coverages.

4500 is a steal even in that condition.
Im sure a good percentage of the vehicles parts are just fine.
the motor alone is worth alot

I think that is how much he got from the insurance when it was totaled.

That is what I meant, I did pay more than that though when I bought it. It only had 116,000. Only heh. Anyway, the point I was making was that even after I had it for like two years, I still got almost all the money I originally paid for it back.
