i got the camaro running thursday night. estimated additional hp is 200. there is a car show in colo. spgs today and the car is in it.it won its category last year in this show last year. it was its first ever show. if you come to the show, stop by. it is viper yellow and black with a blower sticking out of the hood. the show is at the youth outreach just south of constitution and union from 10:00 - 4:00. lots of cars and bikes to look at. for some of you there is cursing. for others there are cute ladies. for others there are ugly ladies with big ---- and tattoos. couple of imports in the show as well.

specs are as follows: 327 punched and stroked to 355 ci. 350 steel crank, magnafluxed rods, 8:5/1 trw blower pistons, schneider 292/510 solid cam, scorpion roller rockers, dart pro1 heads, (dont have flow specs in front of me but i think they are 216 cfm), Dyer Blower running 13% overdriven. the static compression is 8.5 but the boost compression takes the car up around 15:4/1. dual 600cfm edelbrock carbs, ceramic large tube headers, 31/2 inch exhaust collectors, 3 inch dual exhaust thru 3 inch turbo mufflers, m-22 rock crusher aluminum 4 speed, nhra approved scatter shield, driveshaft halo, 373 12 bolt rear end. all this is bolted to a 5 year frame off restoration. it may not be the fastest but it is all mine with lots of pride.

I'm Brians older brother. we have no idea where dad went, he went to buy spark plugs and a battery for the tv remote and never came back. Brian thinks he is at a tv store with all his remotes and has forgotten where home is. i think he ran off with miss NGK or miss STP

I'm still seriously doubting that a head swap will net you 200 hp, but it sounds like a very nice car. Any pre-head swap dyno numbers?

I think the 200 hp estimate comes from the heads and the ability to run more boost. Before he was running 6 underdriven on the blower and 6 over on race gas. Now he is running 13 over on pump gas because of the heads.

We went to dyno the car before the head swap, but as luck would have it the key to the ballancer o nthe crankshaft broke while we were driving over there. I think I have some pictures of the car around the site, if not i'll post some up.

did i ever say it was reliable? i dont think so! i like car shows cause when i drive the car fast i spend all evening scraping burnt rubber off the wheel wells. i hope to drive it in the 1/4 some day this year if i can. you guys need to go to the gw earlier as i told you earlier, i am brians older brother and my girlfriend wants me in bed or i have to go home. maybe next time
