PS2 Online Games...

I about to buy a network adapter and setup my PS2 so I can be a bum all day and play games online. Which games do you guys recommend or have played?

I just got done playing SOCOM and it was pretty tight. Also Madden is a definate!

Is their any reliable source online to order them or just get them at best buy?

I like to play pretty much all the Sega sports games. I don't think NHL is online though, kinda sucks cuz that game RULES! Anyways, if you're into the online RPG thing, Everquest is online for PS2 now. I just get my games used at Gamestop or whatever.

NHL is live on Xbox! It sucks when you're smacking down some punk he disconnects at the last minute and it costs you your stats.

does it cost any money to be online with the PS2 besides the initial cost of the network adapter. i was thinking of getting socom. My friend was showing me the game and i think it was bad ass.

Nothing that I've played has been pay to play online on the PS2, but Phantasy Star Online for Gamecube is, which kinda sucks because the game is expensive and you gotta pay more per month. Xbox Live rules!

Well I finally got my network adapter put in place and SOCOM for the PS2 and it is alot of fun! If you guys are have too much time on your hands or just want somthing entertaining to do pick up a $40 adapter and get a game you can play online.

I also have played Madden online so far. I wanna get a NBA game, I think that would be sweet as well. Anyone play any new games they would suggest?

I didn't try it online when I rented it. The game's not much better than the first one, except now you got nos haha. Auto Modellista still kicks some ass. Can't wait til Gran Turismo comes out.

i saw that on automodellista, they have the exact course for the akagi downhill (home of the Red Suns on Initial D), my homeboy and I tried doing that and it's hard as hell without the ability to d/s to 3rd fast. :( and they're missing the ding ding sound when the ae86 goes faster than 100km/h :p

Yeah I got my ae86 to push like 383 horses or something haha. I like using my hatchback on that course. Does better than you would think.
