Best DSM Tech Ever

Team NABR has opened it's tech info to the public. You cannot get better DSM tech info anywhere, ever. It's a different kind of board which is why I'm linking you guys directly the rules first.

If you own a DSM which you are modifying or work on yourself, let me just say, we are very lucky to have this resource available. Litterally everything technical about DSMs has been talked about and archived there.

Just in case anyone is wondering what happened to this thread. I was asked to clean it up a little since it went WAY off topic. I looked it over and decided that since it was a worthy thread that was intended to be helpful, it deserved to be cleansed of all the bullshit. Let's try to keep the tech forums a little more civil than the off topic ones ladies and gentelmen. If you have any questions, you can PM me.

There is a story behind that. The Team was started by a group of friends who used to work on DSMs together. One of the neighbors complained that they had a mechanics business. So they put a sign out that said "Not A Business". Then their team became "Team Not A Business Racing" or Team NABR. Awhile back they started a bulletin board. After a few people started talking shit to them on there own board they deleted all newbies and locked the board down. It was strictly to keep the BS out, not keep the good info in. Now they still have a private board, for those of us who have earned the right to be there, but also a public board so that others can see the good technical info. Everyone wins.

There are no peer boards of NABR, they have no equal. Period.

Track proven tech, a sense of humor and no bs.

The fastest live there and all that's really required is you be able to write English in it's proper form and be able to use a search button. That's simple enough.

You can't use aol or a free e-mail service to register.

AOL promotes trolls and people who like to cause trouble on ubb's. I've seen it and dealt with them enough at dsmtalk to know.

Interestingly enough someone brings racist remarks to the table, in one way or another.

I for one could care less who is on any board as long as I can read their post. I typically do not respond to poorly typed and thought out posts. It is not worth the headache to me. I don't care if you're black, purple or a pillow-biting fag. If I have trouble reading it I'm done, that doesn't make me a racist now does it...

Why is there a Confederate States of America flag in that post? That flag is not a symbol of racism. It is however a symbol that has been pirated by people claiming not to be racist and are sympathetic to certain causes and want to force their sorry-assed liberal policies on me and my cure for that is a $.25 bullet.

What they mean by English is not a second language is you won't come on the board and say something like, "yo dawgs i gotsa 91 eeclips that is tite homies" or something that doesn't even remotely qualify as English. It has nothing to do with what language you speak. Infact there is a guy on the board right now who speaks English as a second language and can barely write in English. Posting opinions and views is fine, leading a thread so far off topic that know one even knows what the thread is supposed to about is not. I didn't clean up the thread to try to sensor anyone. It was an attempt to keep this particular thread on track. If you guys would like to discuss the Civil War and talk about meeting up in an alley and find out who's shit smells like what; that's fine with me, but start another thread to do it in. Again, I only "refreshed" the thread at a request so the info didn't get lost in the pissing match. It's rare when we get informative threads and it's kind of sad to see them ruined.
