i took the plunge and ordered the dump tube today from summit racing. for $28 i cant really complain though. hopefully it will be on by next week, I just need to have a shop weld it on the race section. it might look kinda funny cause its black but who cares about looks anyways:D

i just wanna hit a 13 at bandimere first but i think the car will be capable of a 13.7 with the setup i have planned, only time will tell though......

edit.....a 13.7 here would put me at a low 13 at sea level which what is needed to be the fastest stock turbo 1.8t

depends on the event and how strict they feel like being. test n tunes you can but stuff like club clash your not supposed to i beileve but alot of domestics get away with it. i think tyler might have run with it open at an event where its not allowed

KatanaGTI also has one. Might PM him to see if it's legal at Bandimere, but it runs hella nice, sounds good too.

dear lord it is loud as all hell, i sold mine to katana. that is the exact dump i had, the only thing that suck was that it scraped the ground sometime, i'm thinking of running a dump with the big turbo

I went ahead and ordered one last night as well, along with that sweet column gauge pod from New South Enginerring.

Tyler, what shop did you have weld that in?

i though you have a 2.5 inch dp, did you order a 2.5" dump tube

I'm running a dumptube on my turbo ITR, I had it custom built, I just reach down in front of the passenger side front tire and pull off 3 wingnuts:)
I love it BTW, the turbo spools much quicker and ups my boost about 2psi.

Nope. We are tight on access time to welding etc...If we duplicate that one DP and add a dumptube that may be a good option, we'll see for sure.

it came in today. it looks super nice and i cant wait to have a exhaust shop weld it on.. should be sometime next week
