Bernie Mack or Cedric the Entertainer are the comedy shows that I prefer.... If you havent checked out KINGS OF COMEDY you should its FUNNY as HELL!!!!!!!!!!!

I have 6, six hour video tapes of the Simpsons, no commercials. Plus I have season one and two on DVD. Simpsons rule.

The Simpson's on the surface might look a little childish but that show has so many things that go over people's heads and that's makes it a smart comedy.

I don't think the Simpsons were intended for children at all. There are so many things you never catch unless you watch the episodes a bunch of times.

guess I'll go out on a limb here and say I really never cared much for any of those cartoons. Sure they are funny at times..but I like to watch cartoons for the art and the humor..there is NO artistic quality in any of those that you mentioned (imo) and the humor just doesnt stand on its own.

going between the simpsons and south park was hard. Simpons is funny as hell but when you watch south park over again they are funny as hell. i have like every episode on my computer and i cant get enough. also adult swim on cartoon network is a damn funny series of shows. Sealab 2021 is great.

South Park isn't actually a town, it's an area.
Nothing beats Adult Swim, ie. Aquateen Hunger Force, SeaLab 2021, Homemovies, Space Ghost. Anyone who says they don't like those shows is because they don't get them. :smashfrea

Of those choices, I'd go with South Park. But compared to all cartoons, nothing beats the good OLD cartoons where they actually had to hand draw everything....ah, Transformers, GI Joe, Tom & Jerry, Looney Toons, the list just goes on.
