I may be, depends on my cash flow...Where you thinking about doing it? Any group pricing available?

If anybody cares, I may be able to swing a good deal to get PFI's dyno for a day at really good rates.

I'm defintaly down. I gonna get some tuning done here soon so that would be cool if we had a meet. If not I will go solo.

When and Where did you plan on having it at?

Is this a 2wd dyno only or AWD capable?

Pang

anyplace that have an all-wheel drive dyno, that way the awd guys will get a chance too. I was thinking bout Autowerks in broomfield, i heard they have the awd dyno there. Anyone got the number to the place?

i heard that autosport werks charges an arm and a leg to use their AWD dyno.

if you want a 2wd dyno go talk to dynopro.

One full day of time (8 hours), two hours of supplied tuning services, and AFR is $600 at PFI/Powerhouse...just for everyone's knowledge. If Tobi is down, you all might think about asking him what he'd charge for the remaining 6 hours...
Powerhouse ph.# (970) 377-8PHD
Make sure you mention Dan told you about it, and you'd like my name to be on the appointment.
Dynopro might be more central for everyone involved though. So I'd consider that too. (They have an extremely nice shop, I'm jealous)
Either way, I'll be there.

I would possibly be interested depending on when it is...I have some new mods planned and if I have time to accomplish them, im down! I vote for Dyno Pro... I have dyno'd a few different cars at a few different shops and had a great experience at Dyno Pro. Bear really knows what he is doing and I would trust him with my pedal on the rollers any day!!

Im down if the price is right...I dont know much about Dyno's sept that they use a big roll like thing to test tork. FWD's work on most dynos correct?

I'd be in if it fits into my schedule and I think dyno pro is a good choice he usually has pretty good deals for group dynos.

I'm in. I vote for DynoPro. That is where I dyno'd my car before the turbo so I'd like to have it dyno'd again w/ the turbo on teh same dyno :) It was $50 for a few pulls the last time we did it at DynoPro...

Whats wrong with Autowerks? That way anyone could get it done meaning you 2wd people and us AWD people. They also have decent prices and may cut us a little deal if we have enough people.

It's all about the cash flow and also what date/time it happens...I wanna see what numbers I put down.

Kwando

Autosport Werks has a dynapak (spelling) dyno. That dyno attaches to the hub of your car.

Dynopro's dyno is in the ground so you just drive up.

how long does it take on average to get a car strapped down and do 2 to 3 runs? I've never been to a dyno before otherwise I'd be more comfortable trying to set up a group day

Kwando

Not long at all about 5 minutes max to get the car on the dyno strapped down and prepped. Then it's WOT!

PFI?

allmotor_civic
02-05-2003, 06:54 AM
Yeah Shane, we have a in-ground Dynojet Dyno at PFI (i.e. The shop that keeps bringing down the 400whp black hatchback from Ft. Collins to Longmont). We bought it shortly after Action Turbo went out of business. I just threw the idea out there, because it might be easier to schedule at PFI than at Dynopro (as we all know Bear can get backed up quickly towards race season) even though it might be farther away for everyone.
PFI is also the shop with the three pro FWD race cars that run 9's come from. Anyway, later.
