Hey guys & girls I'm new to this site. Just wanted to know if there's any Domestics here? I went by the luncheon by park meadows, I didnt know anybody so I left. I have a Ford ZX2 that has a few mods and is very quick! I also have a 1970 Chevelle that I've been racing around against some of you imports. Give me a holler if any of you want to meet up!

Just because you don't know anybody doesn't mean you can't come up and talk to any of us. BTW, the luncheon was in Castle Rock, it was just a mini-meet at the park meadows soundtrack. There are domestics on this board, but we usually don't like any of them ;) j/k of course.

You have two domestics. You give the other domestic owners a bad rap not even knowing how many cars you have. What a dummy.

No, some of us have been talking to those guys to get a dyno meet going, or even go to Phil Long All Ford Race Day at Bandimere on July6th. That's where I will be racing focuses and probes maybe some V6 mustangs? I am a member of www.TeamZX2.com , I would like to meet up with you guys sometime!

Better hope that underdrive pulley has a dampner in it.

Dude, stu, I've told you once, I'll tell you again. Only crank pulleys need dampeners. Accessory pulleys like PS, Alternator, and AC don't need dampeners. Remember it this time ;)

lol...stu u r a funny guy...I may have more domestics...
exciv2000, I KNOW THAT, but everytime I hear "underdrive pulley" my brain switches it to "crankshaft pulley." I don't know what the problem is, but I think it has to do with the fact that when I hear the "under" part I think low, and the crankshaft is the lowest pulley. What do you think? Does my argument hold water?

sure man, it holds water, but unlearn that assumption NOW :D

ok, for one thing it is the crank pully and there is no dampener! My chevelle has one, But my Zetec does not! I don't think you guys are famililar with my engine at all!!:smashfrea
It doesn't matter what kind of engine you have. If you want to get a pulley that has no way of absorbing harmonic vibrations and in turn shortens the life of your engine, that's fine with me.
