Yes.... this is how i got it. I traded a 86 for it. Only mods are ksport coilovers, brembo rotors, and ebay exhaust. I'm no big baller and I'm not looking to build a show car, so ill go the more cost effective route possible.

Wish list and things to do in the next couple of years.....

H2B swap
c/f hood
wire tuck
full black interior
fix roof
fix headliner
wheels/tires
more suspension upgrades
seats
detachable steering wheel
....and im sure there is more.

Traded cars.

BTW....
Certifit fenders = good
Certifit headlights = good
Certifit bumper = ok
Certifit grille = not so good
Certifit hood = very poor

Ill be getting a c/f hood in the future.

I need to get some clips for the rockers and body side moldings..... and they forgot to paint the spoiler and grille. other then that, I'm very happy with how my maaco paint job came out. But its late, and I've got to work tomorrow.

Wow, looks good man! Keep it up!

Quick suggestion, if you go H2B, go with the QSD kit. Little more work to get it in, but by far the simplest, most cost effective, logical design. And, I havent heard any negative about the kit and how it functions...

wow, you got to work on my buddy's old civic really fast. looking great!! how're you liking those custom rates ksports i put on there :D

btw, the black hood wasn't actually suppose to be given to you, since eric actually swapped his red hood with another buddy's black hood, so would you mind trading back since you've already switched to a 99 front end??

Sure. but i dont really need another damaged hood, so you could keep the red one too.

Thanks everyone....

Trevor at Maaco Littleton painted it. BTW, anyone know how to open the door from the inside when its locked shut? Ive got the door trim panel off but am still having trouble with it. I guess there is a pin i could press, but i cant find it. Spent about an hour on saturday trying to get the door open. :(

I've found this, but i just cant find the pin Im support to press.

There should be 2 little rails that go from where the lock/handle to the latch. Just fiddle with those, one you should push and it'll unlock, then pull the other to open.

BUILD UPDATE......

Plans for this week...

1. since my door lock took a $hit, ill redo the red drivers door insert this week. it had a bit of glue bleed though.
2. ill be dying the carpet black with duplicolor's vinyl & fabric paint.
3. i think i want to have the roof match the door inserts.... yup... red roof. we will see how it turns out.

Thats what i was planning on, but i think i like these replicas better. They have red stitching and being that this is a budget build, they only cost $122 each.
