ok i have just a few questions... i was going to purchase a 2nd gen b16 longblock from hmotorsonline and i wanted to know if i am going to be able to use the intake manifold and distributor from the 2nd gen b16, my car is a 95 civic so its obd1, and to my knowledge all that stuff is obd2. is that going to be a problem? also what kind of ecu should i use? HELP!

actually the 95 is OBD1, so if you did the B16A2 all the sensors, dist, pretty much everything will work..The ECU you will want will be either of these: P08,P28,P30,P61,P91
Couldn't of said it any better myself
88-91 = obd 0 (B16A1) - Cable Tranny
92-95 = obd 1 (B16A2) - Hydro Tranny
96-00 = obd 2
After 00 I don't understand:D

I have a chipped LS ECU you should buy. I loved it for my ls/vtec. Let me know if you are interested and we can talk price. It has a 10,000 rpm red line and no speed limiter

Please don't go spouting off when you don't know what you are talking about. You got the obd part right. But the engine codes are wrong. A b16a2 is the 99-00 Civic Si motor. The 88-95 B16 is just the b16a 1st/2nd gen no number after it. And if anyone cares the b16a3 is the del sol motor
