yeah, these luncheons are usually pretty large. Last time we had probably 100 or so people show up. So if castlerock is good which place do we want to meet up at, and who all can come. Lets put this at least 2 weeks out so we have time to plan things.

I went with him to the shop last weekend and they were in the process of turning his wing into a 3 piece. He also took them a new front bumper but it looked like ass on his car so instead they are gonna customize his Buddy club front...I don't remember when they said they would be finished but they are not painting it, someone else is.

i'll be at vans at 10, as for everybody meeting up thats sort of difficult unless the north people head down i-25 get off at lincoln and stay there and wait for the south area to get there...

i would assume the south area people will come accross 470 get on i-25 and head about 1/2 south to the lincoln exit... then we could all caravan down i-25 in a big ass mob...

thats my suggestion anyway

it would take longer but we could bring the north area around c-470 and hit you guys at wadsworth... not my vote though

Where is the park meadows soundtrack from eastbound C-470?

For those of you down south (Golden, Lakewood, Littleton area), we'll meet at the Soundtrack at Wadsworth and Bowles, and go from there down to the Soundtrack at Park Meadows. We'll be leaving the Soundtrack at Wadsworth and Bowles at 11:00 SHARP, so be there by then, otherwise hump your ass down to the Soundtrack at Park Meadows, and we should leave there by 11:30 AM.

To get to the rockyard:

I25 (north or south) to the northernmost Castle Rock exit (exit 181?). The exit at the outlet mall.

Take Meadows Parkway west, and take your first left (if you were to take a right, you'd be heading to the mall).

Rockyard is about 1/8 mile down on the right.

Their Red Hawk ale is pretty good.

I was just thinking about the big line of cars...The lights on County Line Road might cut the van into many parts. When the 1st people get in the highway, please drive 50 MPH or so, so that others may catch up. Once every one is together, 55-65 MPH is a good speed to go, because the people in front control the speed of everyone else and when the people in back get behind, they will have to drive much faster then the people up front inorder to catch up.

Oh and its a good idea to get gas on Sat (The day before)

Last luncheon everyone went their own way, everyone got split up, the lead people didn't know where they were going. Basically it was all screwed up. If we plan a route we can print something out for the peeps that plan on driving so we don't all get lost.

It would be a good idea to plan for a few stops on the drive route incase people get stopped at lights.

Just an idea.

I don't think the cops are going to waste their time listening in on our conversations. If they wanted to give someone a ticket i don't think it would be hard to find someone.

I hate to say it... But James is right... Cops run channel 9 for emergency's and then they have a private channel for their patrol and truckers use channel 19... That gives us about 22 other channels to find one that no one is using... I think we'll have a pretty easy time of going about it... Plus they'll actually help with the cops, not hurt... Not sure if anyone has gone on rode trips with their parents when they were young but if you happen to have a CB in your car... Easilly turn it to channel 19 and repeat after me: "Breaker one nine breaker one nine, can I get a smoke report headin' south bound I-25, Just passed mile marker 217" And quick to reply a happy trucker with their eyes peeled for every spot where your "Bear" is waitin' just for you... I know I'm bringin' mine

You guys using CB or FRS? I think they are diferent Frequency bands. CB= Citizen Band, FRS= Family Radio Service ie, motorola talkabouts. So which is it?

I think that most people have FRS stuff. I went and bought an in-car one that goes up to 3 miles. There is also GMRS that goes up to 5 miles; but you need a license to use it.

FRS: Family Radio System
-- Up to 2 mile range (except mine)
-- Up to 500 milliwatts of power. (FCC mandates that any transmitting device with more power must have a license to operate)
-- Channels 1-14. Some radios (like mine) have 38 quiet codes for each channel.

GMRS: I have no idea what it means.
-- Up to 5 mile range
-- Over 500mw of power
-- I think they have more channels than FRS. You can talk to people on the FRS channels, but you can also go to channels that FRS people won't have.

CB: Citizen Band
-- Don't know shit about them. All this stuff is just what I learned from working at Radio Shack.

Me and Bryan are definitly usin' CBs and we're meeting at the westminster skate park (Vans) at 10:00 AM... Ash is goin' down with Eric and Tidus I think so I guess I'm bringin' Michele and Tina, or Nina and Jannet, or Julie and Dessie... Or Carly and Kalya... Or I'll just see how many females I can back in the Vu :D... Might need to bring my truck :D
