I have 2 tanks that I am trying to sell as a pair. They are both Pure Energy tanks. One is a 48 c.i. 3000 psi and the other is a 68 c.i. 3000 psi. The 48 is amost brand new and the 68 is an older one with the sticker peeling off. Both tanks operate flawlessly. On a regular gun they will yield 10 shots per cubic inch (480 shots for the 48 and 680 for the 68). If you are using a low pressure (400 psi) setup it should get about 1 1/2 times more shots than a standard pressure gun (800 psi) They are better than CO2 because they operate on air pressure rather than a liquid that has to convert to gas. Nitro tanks are cheaper to fill than CO2 and don't have problems with pressure fluctuation. To learn more about CO2 vs. N2/air go here http://www.ottersccustoms.com/air.html
I would like to get $120 for the pair or $50 and $70 respectively.

Where do you get them filled?

Paintball store/field. Galyans should be getting all the equipment to do it soon. Usual cost is $1 per 1,000 psi. So $3 to fill either tank regardless of size. Or you can get it filled at a scuba store. you can fill paintball tanks directly off of scuba tanks with a $40 regulator.

Are they Carbon Fiber or Steel?

I have a 90 ci 4500 psi carbon fiber that I might be selling. 3A paintball nitro tank with a system-X cover. I bought this one about 3 months ago. $220 for everything. Or trade for a carbon 68/4500 with cover.
I'll let my brother know about this.
