What turned you on to this car? The main reason ppl get Subarus, are 1: Traction, 2: Dependabilty, 3: Good price. Usually only the new WRX is what tuners go after, although the Impreza RS is also good. Or you can be like me and go with a 1992 Wagon. Get the Turob Model and you got one Hot Wagon!!!

I had a girlfriend that had one when they were new back in '89 and it wasn't too bad a car and was great in the snow but I don't think the performance potential is too high.

There are some reasons why some dont fix certain cars up...but if you can fix that car up, you deserve props, I think parts are gonna be a PITA to find.

HAHA na, he can do it and ill help him! us subei ppl help each-other out... besides, look at me, im fixen up something no one (In their right mind) has ever done before! If i can hook up a 92 wagon, then you can hook that XT6, but i dont recomend you do it unless its free or almost free. What are they asking for it?

Oh, and about finding parts, Home Depo has all the parts youll need...:D

what ever you can afford... you may want to swap moters to a turbo version, or if you got the cash, slap on a turbo. I have to have a good sounding car...I use A K&N high flow air filter, and a glasspack muf. I felt one of the funneyist things in the world, would be to put a wing on a wagon, so that was something I did eraly... just for a million laughts....I still chuckel each time I look at my subi...
Oh, the 1st thing you should do, is remove this air box thingy....ill do it for you or ill just tell you what to do over the phone or something, cuz i cant really discribe it here.

its a fun car, it will handle EXTREMELY well. stock, the car will pull on a civic SI with I/H/E. top end is so-so, itll hit 120, but not really much higher. the car has no current company making any serious after market mods for the car, but of course, anything can be custom made. i suggest a turbo set up, although, it MAY be a bit expensive to fit an entire turbo set up inside the engine bay (i dont remember how big it is, off hand). since its a suby, the engine is practically unbreakable, but the tranny went out on me twice, within a months time. but thats rather expected from a subaru.

good luck on it, i know there are modded ones out there, it just takes a bit of time and money. both of which i dont have :)
