Need a car, $1500 or less

Well it has come down to I need a daily driver. I am going to get a Ducati 848, just need something for when it is just not a good day to ride. I want to have some fun with it too. Small mods here and there and yes, I will post pics of before and after here on HAI. Thinking of something like an 93s and older cars. So tell me what you think.

What is a cheap platform to work off of. I was thinking of a 91 Integra or a CRX or old BMW. I do not know, i just want to so something. I am kind of leaning towards something that is fun on dirt roads. FF or AWD. But Oh well. It will be for kicks. I will try to put some power into it too.

89 Civic Hatch. Primered.

$650 with new motor bought from conrad I install.

$500 with new motor bought from conrad included, but you install.

Old motor has already been pulled out, you basically just have to drop the new one in.

I need to get this damn thing out of my garage before the woman kills me.

Body is good, clean title, never wrecked. We resanded down to steel and there's all original factory steel, not a drop of bondo on the thing, no crazy cut in half and rewelded body panels. Relaid etching primer and am in the process of laying a coat of urethane primer on top.

I think that integra would be fun. I am going to see what I can do after today. And not Poor 848. That will be my baby, I cam going to take good care of it. I am a lot better drive now then i was. It has been over 2 years since I had a ticket.

Impreza L 95, anyone got one they are willing to sell? I do not do Auto. Also, what swaps can you do with it? The engine has only 110 Stock, so I think I will need to fix that. But AWD and small car. I think I can live with that. I looks real clan when worked on. I got my heart set on that. Just a small AWD car.

Alas, my grammar on hair is a fail but at least I am never going to use the place as a reference for any job, application or scholarship. So it really does not matter to me. Getting car next weekend. It is the 1.8L One.
