Found this GEM' (86 corolla rwd.)

Really nice old lady blew the motor and sold it to me, She bought it new in 86 with 26 miles on the odo. I think it will get a mitsu.... The paint is not that good, but it is all there. Tow hitch is a nice touch.

I ALMOST bought one a before I got my hatch, but it needed a bit too much drivetrain wise, and interior wise. It had NO interior but the dash...which was shit...and every balljoint, brake pad, driveshaft and even the rear end was bad... Decided to go a different route to say the least...haha

G/L on the new venture! should be a helluva runner with a 4g63 in it... :)

^has a bbf c6 auto....waiting for the AUSSIE 302c 58cc heads- near driving, but i found a cheap way to get near 11:1 with the other stuff it will give it another 200hp/100+tq. I have been slacking on the old girl. I will post up pics of the finished project after the begining of next year.

Update on corolla. Bought a total for "big bag of peanuts" a 96 taco with a 2.4l amd manual trans....pulling it this weekend here its the truck. I was building a 4g63t for it but when i found this truck for th price i figured what the hell.....

got the motor in! It was a suprising pain in the ass. It is mounted in with the sub frames done, I was having trouble with starting it the past few days to verify what wiring is needed- found i was chasing my tail with a bad ground at the igniter....dammit! sounds good (no exhaust yet but idles fine) here are a few pics of the mess. (*toyota is a little secretive with info on specific wiring details but thanks to Mtn states and the tech manual its running)

got it driving! passed emissions too! (guys at the emissions place were confused looking for the carb... some good acting later they ran it) The speedo is 15mph off at 55mph (shows 70) gears are short, one tire fire is a hoot! I will weld the diff and add another electric fan this next week. After the work is in i will post up a vid of the old girl. I thought of some performance crap for it but, then again, power to weight is good enough for now.
