I'm looking for a wireless network adaptor and an external hard drive for our xbox 360. Might anyone have spare parts they'd like to sell?

Or - a place to find said parts without paying $100 for the wireless adaptor?

Be careful which external you buy. I bought a 250GB on Tigerdirect only to find that it didnt work with the 360. I basically had to trade it for a 200GB that did actually work with it. I cannot even find the one I have for sale online anymore either or I would post it.

or

If you have a computer next to the xbox you can bridge the connection.

My son will be purchasing the stuff, so brand new isn't necessarily required. I'd like to find a wireless adaptor for no more than $50.

If there was a computer next to it we wouldn't need the wireless. :)

try craigslist. There is one now for 50 bucks in Denver.

john, I've got an external linksys game bridge you can just have. It's older, was using it on my xbox 1 and a few audrino projects, but it works with anything with an Ethernet port so it should do fine on the 360 too. Only drawback is it's 802.11B only, so 11 megs throughput only. Xbox gaming uses hardly any data at all so it'll do for that, but may be slow if he's downloading movies or games off of live.

Street_Kings - I ended up with a linksys wireless adaptor. My son was chomping at the bit so he paid for it. $69 for a generic/universal wireless access point vs $99 for a single xbox part. :)

I appreciate the offer.

Now we just need an xbox disk. The 512 meg memory card currently being used is getting full.

Anyone? Buehler?
