Seems the most fawked up thing yet...

Definitely unethical, borderline treasonous.

New York Post = FOX News with a less obvious name... they're both owned by Rupert Murdoch.

Also, the writer of that article has already been exposed as a fraud several times before: http://www.sourcewatch.org/index.php?title=Amir_Taheri

Deception is all that the McCainiacs have... how pathetic.

Seriously, what a fucking joke.

You're certainly trying Conrad, but you can't seem to find anything negative about Obama to share with us that isn't irrelevant or an outright lie. Keep trying, maybe someday you'll find something! :D

Things I post arent lies as my belief... This link was just something that I found. I commented on it. I have plenty of reasons to not like Obama on his policy not on my opinion or lie that I tell myself. This is an opinion piece just like it should be taken as an opinion.

But I am happy that weston showed me the link for the opinion piece author. Interesting indeed.

Same thing could be said for both sides.

Not only am I sick of made up bullshit, I'm sick of elitist comments from one side or the other talking about how lame/stupid/moronic the other wide is. People who throw insults aren't any better than those slinging made up facts

The Democratic party certainly sucks too, and I'm very disappointed in Congress. However, when McCain is so boldly telling lies and running such a low and sleazy campaign, I make no apologies for pointing out his lies and appropriately insulting him for it. Deception is a pathetic tactic used by the weak. I voted against Governor Ritter for that reason, but unfortunately most people are easily fooled, so that slimeball got elected.

In any case, I'd expect the same treatment for Obama if he were to do those things, but I've yet to see anyone make any substantial claims against him that actually hold up to real fact checking. All we see so far is Rupert Murdoch's hit pieces (FOX News, NY Post, etc), paid pro-McCain bloggers, and nothing that holds water. The man undoubtedly has some dirt, as everyone does, but the anti-Obama people have completely ruined their own credibility, so we may never know.

Even if McCain got his act together and actually had views that I agree with, I still wouldn't vote for him because of his tactics. If Obama pulled the same shit, I wouldn't vote for him either.

I just think it's funny that me pointing out facts about bogus attacks on Obama makes you feel compelled to lower things to the level of personal insults against me. Surely McCain is a strong enough candidate that he and his supporters shouldn't need to deceive people about Obama, or attack Obama supporters on a personal level, right?

If you post something negative about Obama, and it's actually true and not taken out of context, I'll gladly read it, and probably even agree with you. I'm not exactly thrilled with Obama. But I'm not going to place any value on these lame ass smears against him that don't hold any water.

+1. The obama campaign never does this sort of thing. Ever. /sarcasm

(since HAI sometimes can't tell when sarcasm is being used, I have to point it out)

Let's see some examples then. I'm a voter, so do this country a service and point me and other voters to what you've found. Don't just make vague allegations, point us to some actual examples of Obama blatantly lying about McCain, or taking what he said way out of context for the purpose of deceiving voters. We've already established that the McCain camp is doing this to Obama, so show me where Obama is allegedly doing it to McCain.

I don't waste my time on this bs called american politics. BUt I do recall instances where he has bashed McCain. Don't get me wrong, I am neither a McCain supporter nor a obama supporter. But I think its funny how shrill each side gets. Especially the obama side.

I think its even funnier how elections are won. Seems the philosophy is the side that digs up the best stuff wins. And then the president has a black eye because of all the dirt that was dug up on him. Its really hard to respect anyone in politics, nit because of the already shit and corrupt practices, but the tactics used come election time. Has anyone ever heard of getting to the top because of your own merit?

Of course he bashed McCain, he's campaigning against him. The difference is that that Obama bases his statements about McCain in fact (again, try to prove me wrong here), and then usually tells us how he's going to do it better too. Meanwhile, McCain is getting busted left and right for saying things about Obama that are either factually false, or are extremely and deceptively taken out of context.

I expect McCain to attack Obama's political position, but what causes me to lose respect for McCain is that he can't seem to do it with honesty and integrity. He's putting BS words in Obama's mouth and then attacking them, rather than attacking what Obama actually said and means. He's like a cross between Hillary Clinton and a forum troll.
