Did you or were you a Verizon Wireless customer from July 23, 1999 to August 10, 2008, and you were either charged an ETF, whether you paid it or not, you could be eligible for a piece of a $21 million pie (after the attorneys get their fees first), just file a claim form by October 14.

I refused to pay and they charged me a late fee on top of the $175.00 and sent it to collections. They hurt my credit and also made me pay a total of $188.57. Those jackasses.

If you had the same problems go join the Verizon ETF Settlement at:
http://www.verizonetfsettlement.com/

Here's the article I found this at:

I honestly cannot beleve this went through.

Yet another example of people mainly being irresponsible and getting into contracts without reading them and crying foul when things turn out negative, even though it's clearly spelled out in a legal binding contract that both parties agreed upon.

Not a personal burn liz, I don't think you're the type to play thevictim by any means and there's probably a lot more to your story. Im referring to the comments that many people who have joined the class action are leaving. Almost all of them say shit like "I signed a contract, couldn't pay, and they charged me a fee! They're evil!" even though in the contract they signed it says "if you cancel before the contract is up, we will charge you."

I got a notice in the mail, read it, realized how silly and frivolous it was & tossed it.

Haha, I actually had many bad experiences with verizon. They charged me up the butt for things I didn't have or even signed up for.

When I call about those things, they'd take the charge off and apologize yet fail to realize that they didn't take the tax off of my bill. When I go to call and have them fix that problem they keep transferring me to 10 different people and each person at least a 15-20 minute wait. I was also mixed up with someone else account that I didn't know of.

I was fed up with how they treated me in the end. The girl that helped me had a little high school girl attitude's which at the time did not help me. So, I wished not to continue my service due to the different charges I got after I had signed a contract agreeing to pay only what I had signed for in the contract.

I was never notified of these changes before they charged me.

Blah blah sob story. In the end they screwed me over and I'm not complaining about getting charged for $175.00. They did not once try to fix their errors due to their own fault and I had to make a lot of calls that could've been resolved with only one or two phone calls.

SO, anyhow, I think they could've at least try to work things out with me instead of let me go, but they didn't.

Then you should get in on the suit and let them know that you are (were?) an unhappy customer.
