Cutler looked great and it's apparent the Raiders have more work ahead of them and is looking like they might win 4 games once again this season.

Check your quarterback. If he's Tony Romo expect a choke job in the playoffs
Broncos looked good. The real litmus test for the season comes next week.

Oh snap, I have a fellow Chi-town brother on this forum?
Chicago definately played like they should've back in the Super Bowl game. It's nice to see their defence back in gear.
The Broncos still need to work on that rushing D. The true test will indeed be next week against San Diego. Good way to start off though.

Yup, I was born in Libertyville and grew up in Antioch, way up on the north side, almost to Wisconsin.

Not only would the Bears had to play liek tye did on Sunday to win a Super Bowl they also need the AFC opponent to paly like the Colts did. The Colts played like crap more than the Bears played well.
Can the Chargers get a break? Merriman is now done for the season and since firing Shottenheimer I just don't think they are the same team and their SB window may have passed and if the Broncos come out and beat them I think psychologically they might be done.
I think the Broncos will win on Sunday and this Rivers/Culter rivalry is going to be a good one.

Way to fucking choke, Cutler. Damn, he was playing so well 1 and 2.
*edit* Damn, we got fucking lucky. Again.
Holy shit, though. What a game. +1 to Shannahan for having the balls to go for the win! Go Broncos!

I can't handle that kind of stress on sundays! lol. Some iffy calls but whats the saying again..."any given sunday". :)
^ agree, that was stressful lol.
Gotta admit that call was horrible and we should've lost, but I'll take the win. The D is going to be our downfall, hopefully we can keep this little streak going through the rest of the season though.

we robbed the chargers, with all intents and purposes, considering how bad we played in the 2nd half, we deserved to lose. our offense is dynamite

Our D needs some work but our O exposed the Chargers D also.
Woop woop! Whooping some major ass already! Go Broncos!

WE may not have the best passing defense today, but our run defense is pretty spot on. WE've forced them to stay in the air almost the whole game. Don't forget the goal line stand.

our defense is terrible, we honestly didnt deserve this win but 3-0 is 3-0
we need to learn to either keep up the offensive firepower, or close out games defensively.
its embarassing

Once again I disagree. We shut down their running game pretty well. They beat us on a couple corner routes, but that was it really. They are looking better week by week. They are much better then last year for sure.

Once it was 21-3, the thought of us shutting down and letting them come back came into my mind, and sure enough it happened. It's typical Denver football. Dominate for the first portion of the game, then let it go. Luckily we were able to hold onto the lead, but two weeks in a row of getting lucky...our luck is going to run out soon, we'll have to play more consistantly.

Still great play from Cutler but the D gave up 500+ yeard to the 'Aints and this still could be a long season if they don't learn to stop people.

Griese got pooped big time by Champ but Grcia still held his own and made it interseting in the 4th but it was nice to see some life from teh Denver D.
BTW- it was also nice to see that the Cubs will stay the loveable losers and it makes it a solid 100 years.

Yeah...fucking retarded. One of the worst play calls I've ever seen. With 11 seconds left how do you not kick it as far down the field as you possibly can, causing them to need to go the length of the field. Thanks Lovie...douche.

pass interference my ass. We got robbed on that one. Our defense played very well today. Cutler did not.
Dave_L
10-12-2008, 06:48 PM
Yeah, some BS calls but we had some questionable calls go our way in the first few games. Its all part of the game.
That bears/falcons game was crazy intense.
V8SpankR
10-12-2008, 10:22 PM
Marshall dropping the ball at the 5 didn't help and really turned the game it seemed.
Cutler played erratic but he was also down Royal and Scheffler and Stokely was hurt in the game but the Broncos did have some opportunities to tighten the game up.
That pass interference was BS indeed, when I saw it the first time I knew it wasn't since the guy tipped it before McCree hit him. But considering the horrible call on the San Diego/Denver game, I guess it's just a karma sorta thing we get screwed out of a possible game changing call after getting one our way.
On the other hand, Marshall did fine considering he was the only starting line receiver and did alright till he got shut down. He was Cutler's only target pretty much. Worked decent, but the Jags caught on and stopped it. Cutler does need to learn how to throw the damned ball to someone else besides Marshall, and it also looks like he's one of the roid ragers that once he gets pissed he starts going downhill and can't control his emotions.
Jags always beat Denver, I wasn't surprised they lost again this week.
V8SpankR
10-13-2008, 09:12 AM
Bronco/Jags reg season record is 3-3 but it's the monster playoff loss back in the '96 season that people remember and think they always beat us.
Marshall nees to grip that ball after the catch since if you watch him he gets a little loosey-goosey with it and has a habit of fumbling.
Street_Kings
10-20-2008, 08:55 PM
attn broncos: fuck you cocksucking faggots. Your offensive line is fucking pathetic and can't seem to understand the concept of not handing them the ball. Your defense is going ok except when you fucksticks shoot yourseves in the foot by giving up 60+ yards due to penaltys. Fuckoff, I'm finding a new team until you learn to play.
Martian
10-20-2008, 10:45 PM
Cutler needs to be benched. He's been figured out, and they are reading him every play. Our defense played well but were tired out from too much time on the field.
This game was pathetic, and thats being nice about it.
