Tranny install

any 1 have a easy way of aligning the tranny up with the clutch teeth?

my friends step dad decided to install his clutch finally after it sat for almost a year...anyways got the clutch and pressure plate on but we just cant get the drive shaft on the tranny to line up right we use a cherry picker a jack even a transmission jack..... thanks alot for any help

My car my clutch heres what I do:
*Slap old man and tell him to back off
*After you line the Clutch disc up look at it to see it its "Centered"
*One person lay under neath the Trans. that person can hold it up while Top guy(Homo) lines it up.
* no Trans jack or hoist needed, unless your really Weak

i got my tranny on hella fast. he never listen to no 1 his way or the highway

ey carl can we still meet up for the hatch? finished my engine im just looking the map sensor plug a ecu,battery and 12v power wire then i can start my teg up

hes hella anal about everything this is his 1st time workin on a car.............. worried about bending them metal pieces on the pressure plate if the dowel pins are lined up what bolt goes where blah blah the list goes on im like duuddeeeeee

use the clutch alignment tool

its already installed.... theres was no prob with installing the clutch just gettin the tranny back on

Double check it, If you don't have the clutch centered 100% it won't go on. Even if it's off an ass hair it won't go.
