easy d16z6 dipstick question.

Is the dipstick for oil level the same out of a d15b7 as a d16z6? Basically will it read accurately? or is it too short?

^same, d-series have the same basic capacity of oil.

I just compared the dipsticks from a D15B7, D16Z6, and D15Z1. They are all the same overall length and have the two indicator holes in the same place - so they all will make identical measurements.

Where there was a difference is that the D15Z1 dipstick has a heat sheild around the plastic plug that seals the tube when the dipstick is in place, which makes sense given that it is so near to the close-coupled cat.
