I have great news for all of you military members out there. Judy with Faasst driving school and I are putting together a track day just for you. We feel we should try and celebrate the lives of the soldiers lost while serving our great country.

7/9/08 UPDATE- We are now extending the appreciation to all uniformed members including Fire, Police, EMT, etc... and the price has been updated to only $50 a uniformed person.



Here's how it's going to work:

When: September 11th, 2008 (Thursday)
Where: Pueblo Motorsports Park (http://pueblomotorsportspark.com/)
What: Road Course lapping (2.2 mile, 10 turn course)
How much: see category you fall in below

Active duty, Active Reserve, Police, Fire, EMT's, and their dependents:

Safety course- $100 per person (Regular price is $149!)
Full lap day- $50 per person
(that's a $50 savings!)

Veterans and Non-Active reserve

10% off on all track fees!!

Why is the price for non-military the same as the military discount? $100 for a full day? How is that appreciation?

Which class do I need for certification to go to track days on my own?

We still have to pay PMI to use the track... Plus all you have to do is bring a military buddy and it equals only $50 for the whole day.

You need to do the safety course $100 for military/ $149 non-military

Our FAASST K&K insurance has approved motorcycles for our Sept 11 Military Appreciation Day. Bikes and cars will run separate sessions. A press release is attached.

Summary:
$100 per car or per bike to lap all day 8 to 4pm
Active Military & Family laps for $50
Those new to Pueblo Motorsports Park will have the Safety Orientation Class Available to them.

All lapping fees will be donated to a soldier’s family in need through our contact at Ft Carson.
