Turning 25

So I always have heard that your insurance goes down after you turn 25. Right now I am 24 turning 25 in a few months. I was just wondering how much does the cost decline. I realize that their are more than one factor that goes into this. But typically what happens.

It does go down for sure. I can tell you what happened in my case atleast. I saved about $200 over 6 months on my STI. It can even be more sometimes, since I get a ticket like once a year it does help...

The other thing is that if you turn 25 say today, and your policy renews in 2 months. Then you won't see the savings until after your renewal. The way around that is to switch companies when you hit 25.
