Golf tournament is a GO!!
Set for Foothills Golf Course in Littleton on SUNDAY JULY 27 AT NOON. The price per person will be $70. This will include 18 holes of golf, cart rental and Foothills' tournament package. Winning foursome will get to take home the annual trophy for the year. Jake and I are working on getting together some prizes to be announced as the date moves closer.

$70 locks your spot. If you cant do $70 all at once, PM Jake (Cjake39) so he can keep track. Jake will be in charge of the money, so PM him for any money questions you may have. Sorry Jake, but you're the Registered Merchant and all....
Should be a good time for all. Check back as I will update this original post with new info as it comes.
We will set up foursomes and play scramble. Post up if you want to play and put yourself (as honestly as possible) into 1 of 4 categories. A,B,C,D.
"A" category being for good golfers scoring 80 or under.
"B" would be for someone who could hold their own and shoot 80 to 90.
"C" level would be for average weekend warriors and be 90 to 100 scoring range.
"D" would be for anyone shooting over 100.
Each foursome would have an A,B,C,and D golfer. Or as close to that as possible.

Is it really a best ball? A lot of people get best ball and scramble tourneys mixed up.

Best Ball - All members play their own ball through, then best score gets placed on team scorecard.

Scramble - Best ball location is selected each stroke and each member plays from that location.

Sorry, forgot to fix that... Yes it's a scramble, not a best ball. From what I get it's 4 people shoot from the same spot, whoever's the best shot out of the 4 move to to that location to start again with all 4 players.

I think I have it right. It's been a while since I've even been on a course. We are trying to have a lot of fun at this event, so nothing too serious.

Ok, so we need to put this thing together... I'm up for meeting either the 12th or the 19th at the latest. We really need some definate answers on who will be going. I have to have all the player's $ in by the 18th, but if I get everyone to show up (atleast 16ppl) on the 19th then I will front the money. If we don't have enough players, I will have to withdrawl the date and personally lose $100. So let's get some heads together to get this thing going.

I'm heading to California for business that night, and am already willing to postpone the trip to make sure the tournament gets going.

I have currently 4 ppl paid and 16 ppl interested....

Good luck! I was talking to your mom about it yesterday and she didn't know. I had to help her with your old insurance company trying to charge her for cancelling.... If I were you, I would try and bring some proof that you go to the track to race with your car. I think that will help get the message that you take it to the track, not the street.

Yeah, she was telling me about that... if nothing else, I'm going to try and get them to drop the points if I take defensive driving. I'll let ya' know what happens.
