First post - :biggthump

So I found out about this forum from some fellow CO Lexus guys over on my.is (I was at the Spring meet). I have a few projects underway right now. They all move slower than I would like but I am hopeful to get something done someday ;)

-- IS300 --
My current daily driver - a 2002 Lexus IS300 in Graphite Grey Pearl (GGP); 5mt w/ LSD.

some of the mods:
K&N Fuel Injection Performance Kit II
OBX-R short runner header
Stop-Tech stainless steel braided brake lines
Hawk High Performance Street brake pads
Toyota Altezza rear bumper
JDM TRD rear valance / skirt
Custom subwoofer
Polarg bulbs - Red LED dome and trunk lights
TRD leather shift knob
JDM shorty antenna
other small stuff...

-- The Mountain Yoat --
My trail-runner / rock-crawler project - a red 1982 Toyota Longbed SR5 Pickup.

Done so far:
Weber 38 w/ K&N filter
Offenhauser intake manifold
Tri-Y header to custom 2 1/4" exhaust
D.U.I. street/strip distributer w/ Live Wires 12mm plug wires
Optima Red Top battery
Dual-roller (20R) timing chain conversion
5.29:1 differential gears
Detroit Soft-Locker in rear
Detroit True-Track in front
In cab roll cage
Bobbed bed (16" off bed, 4" off frame)
1.5" body lift
3" shackle lift
35 x 12.50 BF Goodrich All-Terrains on 15x10 black steelies
Decent wheeler with LOTS left to do...

-- Custom Ironhead --
My 2-wheel hot rod. A custom bobber built from a basket case.

Mostly an Ironhead Sportster but built to my taste. The frame is from a 1972 Harley-Davidson Sportster. The front fork and front and rear axles are from an 80s Sportster. The motor is out of a '73 Sporty but has since been stroked to 74 inches (~1212cc), converted to a belt drive primary, had close ratio gears slapped into a reinforced case and generally massaged up to it's true potential. The rest of the bike is pretty much aftermarket; twisted spoke rear wheel, rear disk brake, round can oil tank, porkster gas tank, bobbed rear fender, drag pipes, drag bars, forward controls, gunslinger seat, tiny turn-signals, etc...

-- Magnum --
My wifes car; 2007 Dodge Magnum R/T AWD
We pulled the door bumpers and badges off, low on my priority list but she wants to do some stuff to it...

Anyway - hello everybody!

Welcome. If your IS300 is the gunmetalish one i was following when we left the meet, you need to learn how to drive. Just an FYI. If it wasnt you, tell that guy to take a driving coarse.

Just now saw this post...

Most of us IS guys left together and there are two 'gunmetalish' ones, one of them is mine (the more stock one, not boosted)... So it could have been me but I am pretty sure my buddy in his black IS and his wife in some suv thing were behind me the whole way out... What was the problem with the driving?

You, or your "friend" was driving like a fucking old lady. My wife was cussing that driver out for a half an hour.

It was an empty threat. All I'm saying is keep it somewhat civil. :)
