I wanted my hatch a tad, ok a lot lower than it is so i dropped it last night. Now I am getting some crazy vibrations from what I think are the half shafts? Almost Worn CV Joint type sound. HT recommends some hasport axles that are kinda pricy. Is there anything else I can use? When i got my tranny swapped the mechanic at Honda stated that the bolts in the half shafts weren't the correct bolts. Not really sure what this means. Any insight would be helpful.

Well, when you slam a H swap car the Drive line is SO fucked up that you go through axels like crazy. My buddy is slammed as fuck with a h swap and he goes through Hasport axels as oem shit.

What kind of springs are you using for your drop? If they are still for civic's, then trash them and upgrade to teggy's (teggys will support the additional weight better). With the axles... I was running Driveshaft Shop Stage 1 axles and never had any kind of issues. Maybe you could try those.

Odd, My prelude seems to do the same thing. I figure Ill Raise it up when/if I replace the shocks.

Go buy a beach boys CD and get them good vibrations. Problem solved.

u should of gotten a TEG! lol but check out the axles and make sure your using a 90-93 Ls/GSR midshaft and 94-00 teg axles. and make sure the Bolt are Prelude or 90-93 teg bolts

Just get yourself a nice buddy club spec 2 exhaust, you'll forget all about the drive train noise.

I remember talking to a guy with the same setup, said it went through axles like crazy. When Honda said the wrong bolts, they may have been saying they weren't anchored bolts. If you compare a non-anchored bolt to an anchored bolt, you'll see the non isn't flared on the shaft near the bolt head (that sounded dirty ;)), and the anchored will be flared slightly. I believe this keeps the bolts from backing out/coming loose since they were designed (I believe) for thinks that see LOTS of vibration. i.e. Motor mounts, axle shaft, exhaust parts, etc.

Good luck with them good vibrationsssssss
